The 2022 wc hopefully may have done for Rashford what 2006 did for the al nasr footballer.

Winning when playing awfully is the key to success!

The midfield players need to up their game and be more consistent (as the defenders now are) but the feeling remains that we won't be winning much w/o as decent goal scorer.

Don't know why but I like Lopetegui and hope he does well there. Think it might be the big back slapping, get in to them, agricultural GAA coach energy he gives off.
You need to get your brain replaced!

He's the most annoying coach I've seen in a long time, how he was even allowed to be on the touchline at the end is incredible, if a player tried those antics he'd be off within 2 mins

Lescott

You need more than 1 player (Rashford) that will contribute more than 20 goals if you'll compete with the others, Liverpool have Salah, ... eh ... (jumps quickly to Arsenal) Martinelli

Wolves managed to hire a manager as annoying as playing them is. Great result on my worst away fixture of the season. Fred and Rashford were good subs at the right time for ten Haag.

If we had a proper striker, we’d be right up there with Arsenal and city challenging for the title. It’s a shame the parasites won’t sanction a move for another forward in January, Felix feels like a must.

He was inside the technical area but I haven't seen someone hound the 4th official all night like that

He's actually never been good at that. I realized a while ago that he was never a good player
I’ve realised it awhile ago as well, but today he took the piss. If the last few games are ten hag given him a chance then he’s blown it again
He just picks the easy pass now, even if it’s the wrong option

My favourite was him having a go at the 4th referee for Semedo getting a yellow, when Garnacho's shirt stood right out for 3 seconds :)

Good result, we need and aggressive striker who's a predictor on the box to finish the chances.

Attacking play was really strong, a proper striker would clean up playing for us.

Made it very hard work in the end. Glad the rashford thing is done.

It was a bit of a slog, but only really because we made it so with our tumescent finishing…The BT commentary seemed absolutely desperate to big up Wolves as an even competitor, but we were relatively in control. 2-0 would’ve been a far fairer result… hell, we should’ve been 2-0 by halftime! if Garnacho was as good a finisher as (redacted) and Antony was aware you’re allowed to use your feet in football.

I hate Wolves though. And Neves. And Traore

It would have been a travesty had we not walked away from that game with all 3 points.
We should have been 2 or 3 up at half time.
The lads ground that one out.
Shaw brilliant yet again at centre half.
Fred brought tons of energy
Marcus didn’t sulk one bit and kept his head down.
Credit also to both full backs who worked tirelessly all day, Dalot doesn’t walk back in at right back
He does though. There's really no comparison even though AWB looks better.

Dalot and AWB are very close now because AWB has improved tremendously. The block in this game was crucial for us to get the win. Overall he played well in the game.

Donny Van De Beek really is a terrible footballer.

He had fresh legs just coming in and looking like the most tired player. The feck was that?
I don’t want to just focus on negatives because we are shaping up to be a really top team. But VDB is a deadweight. His decision making is poor, nobody trusts him to pass the ball to him anymore. He is a back pass warrior and nothing else. Last chance saloon is over, get rid for both player and club’s sake.

You take any win you can get in these types of games. Still a little bit annoyed they disallowed Rashford's second but hey ho

It’s fecking ridiculous how we always have goals ruled out.

Should have won this one comfortably if we took our chances. Hopefully we get more clinical in front of goal, but our defending has been very good since Varane has found his form again. Rolls Royce of a CB

A lot of these pundits dig themselves into a hole to diss United, then proceed to dig themselves into an even deeper hole trying to prove their point.

Yeah, the rule is so insanely stupid it's hard to believe it was invented by grown-up people. Tough break for Rashford to have it strip him of a goal twice in a few months.
So let me get this right - if a player shoots and it comes off the defender’s arm which is by their side stopping a certain goal but then the rebound hits the striker’s arm also by their side which deflects it back in, the goal is disallowed and the handball by the defender is ignored?

…and then to City who have Haaland. They do talk a lot of crap lately.

Honestly, I wish we could get better bench players, someone likes Dewsbury-Hall at a good price.

Martial is a problem. I don't think he can really be trusted to lead the line. Imo, he should be an attacking option and more in rotation that a set starter. Today proved it.

People don't really see his weaknesses for some reason, but they are quite obvious if technical skills aren't used with a general brush. He's incredibly one footed, he also needs time and space to control the ball before deciding what he wants to do. He can be good in stretches, but even when fit, he's not really a difference maker.

Signing a forward as good or better than him would really take our attacking play to the next level.

Obviously the opposition far better than their current position shows. A fantastic 3 pts and well earned! However finishing was pretty abysmal. Martial again the main culprit imv. How much slack are we prepared to give the player ffs! Unlike many other posters thought Antony put in a good performance even though he was lacking in the end product. Fact is he was involved in most attacks, positioned himself well, looks great on the ball and will improve and be great for us.

The season has been disrupted with the World Cup, some players back late and Dalot injured, so very happy with the win and the clean sheet it is giving them confidence.

That was terrible play. We struggled to break down a bottom 3 team and shows how much we rely on de gea verane shaw casemiro and rashford. We desperately need a state/company/billionaire to buy us and get another half a team in. Ive been on the Guinness and was watching it in a pub full of Wanderers fans, so may have been influenced in my observation, but TH genius will only go so far.

Aye them commentators where talking absolute bs the whole game. Wolves apparently would've scored one of them chances (said 20 mins before there only chance in the 90th min) if they had a proper CF...clowns

Previous Wolves v Man United match was 1-0 win for Wolves in Old Trafford

Wolves had 19 shots in that game to Uniteds 9

On target Wolves 6 to Uniteds 2. While today was far from a classic it was a big improvement by United..

He was very good and he deserves credit for the way he’s responded after losing his place. It also looks like he’s continued to work on his game rather than sulking which says a lot about his character. With all that being said, Dalot has been solid in defense, but his biggest contribution has been the ability to be almost like a wide playmaker at right back and playing telling passes that lead to attacks. AWB doesn’t offer that.

Yeah. That's the height of it.

Big win away from home against a side with a new manager.

Rashford is on fire at the moment and made the difference because I didn’t see us scoring otherwise to be fair.

Bottom line…when we have a healthy Casemiro and Varane we are going to be very tough to score on…period.

The offence is a bit of mess, that we need to figure out on the fly this season…but those two have completely transformed our team.

We look good in the CB and CDM positions. Up front we are a bit of a mess without Rashford.

Yes you are, Rashford, Varane, Casemiro, Shaw, Fred are all way ahead
Malacia was really good today. Casemiro was mom for me but only he was “way ahead” of Malacia. Rashford even given he came on at half time, certainly wasn’t. Fred? Come on

Seems like every game I watch it feels like the commentary team is willing us to lose. Consistently negative and masked by "wanting a good game for the neutral".

They need to get a but more balanced and just call the game. I'd argue that their inserting way too much of their personality and opinions.
Absolutely spot on! It really does my head in. I enjoyed the games on Amazon Prime this week, where you could have the crowd noise, but no commentary.
