Another day, same shit. Some of our players look gased and others I think just don't care about top 4 because they know they won't be here...

Almost comical l in front of goal, when we lost at Liverpool I think they had 8 shots on goal and scored 7, we have 8 and get nothing, we have to be more clinical. De gea has to be dropped now, for me and I would never play weghorst again. The only bright spot is we have a weeks break between our last 4 games, the team looks shot and we also badly need Garnacho fit.

This is as negative I've response I've ever seen. And yous are dead right. The form since the Cup Final has been a disgrace. Squad full of bottlers

The body language is terrible isn’t it? Ten Hag needs to do some serious work.

They are tired. Too many games this season with a limited squad.

We should have flunked the Europa League.

Another shite performance. Very worrying that the players don't look mentally or physically right. The attack is just so blunt.

I didn't think Eriksen had a good game but there was no movement ahead of him; just seemed like everyone was waiting for someone else to do something. And why this rubbish with Wout as a ten? (or even on the pitch at all)

not even appalling is enough to describe that shower of shite. it's about time mods let us score "zeros". utter disgrace to the shirt and that goes for ETH tonight as well. how does 3 Lions go? "we just know they're gonna throw it away..."

ddg should never play again.martial never does play. bruno imagines all sorts of ills and does feck all once he gets it into his tiny mind that the world is against him. casemiro hasn't been the same since the injury, neither has eriksen. frankly, tonight's lot made Scotty look like Declan Rice

Shockingly poor yet again, collectively shitting themselves as soon as a bit of pressure is applied. Just hope that home form can pull us through in the end.

At least we've got a week to prepare for the next match, which we haven't had in what feels like forever, hopefully that gives them enough time to get a bit more energy into the legs and reset a bit so they can find something for the last few games. If we look just as listless next week then I don't see us turning this slump around.

The last 10 minutes we showed aggression, running off the ball, good early passes into space allowing players time on the ball, had four good efforts on goal. Why don't we play with this intensity all game instead of slow laborious build up resulting in our attackers being faced by two or three defenders.
It'll sound like an excuse (and it's not) but I do think they are exhausted at this stage. Sadly, that is going to cost us top 4 it seems. Getting 9 out of 12 points with players running on fumes may prove too much.

We conceded 2 goals in 2 games. One was after Shaw's handball, the other De Gea howler. It's obvious that attack is the problem and when Rashford isn't scoring, we're in trouble. Garnacho coming back may help to extent, though he's mostly been good coming on as a sub.

Did you think them all gutless all season or are you just having a tantrum?
What do you think is the problem here? We just don't look like scoring and have relied on Rashford all season. When he goes slightly off boil compared to his crazy goal-scoring form, and we don't look like we will score from open play at all.
We have to look at the players and the coaching set up. A 7-0 hiding at Anfield, 6-3 at Etihad, 4-0 Brentford. These are not the markings of a great side when you see how we still play as a counter attacking team.

Where's the pressing, or patterns of play which we all thought ETH would bring?

Outfought, outhought, outplayed. OK we have three left at home and one away, I just can’t see us getting nine points from those now. We have not exactly been convincing in any games for a long period, it has not helped with injuries to Varane and Martinez.

Said the same thing, we looked like we just turned up to get beaten.
It’s giving me deja vu of those grim, despondent final few months under Rangnick. Some of the players can’t handle it and now it seems to be infecting everyone.

It is 4am here, I wasted more than 2hrs of my life to see this team play football. We played well until the goal, this team almost never take their chances. It is the same old story game after game. Good 1st half and poor 2nd half. I shall never stay up this late to watch this pathetic bunch plays without passion. If this continues next season, ETH will be sack.

Can’t seem to get a win right now. Wild how we’ve gone from one of the most in form teams in the league to this

Even if you take the fecking ridiculous feck up by De Gea away it was a disgusting performance from pretty much everyone else wearing a United shirt and even worse performance by ETH as his whole set up today was shambolic, his refusal to learn from his mistakes and pure stubbornness will be the end of him at United.

How many times this season has De Gea got to feck up before he’s dropped ? It’s multiple times this season now and neither Butland or Heaton have done more than keep each other company on the bench, if money is tight this summer then I’d honestly rather use Henderson next season as De Gea is a fecking liability which has been said by multiple people this season.

Why ETH persists with Weghorst on the pitch is one thing but to keep shoehorning him into the team at the detriment of our shape or players playing in their best position is fecking mindblowing, we were so desperate for a striker that the one we brought in isn’t ever played as a striker and just fecks up the team by being no better than someone who won a competition to play for United for a year.

I don’t get why we’d play our most creative player and a natural 10 (Fernandes) out wide or our best attacker and top scorer (Rashford) through the middle when he’s natural out wide, it’s worse than when Guardiola tries to be overly clever tactically as ETH doing it isn’t fecking clever.

We were second to everything, bottled every challenge outside of Shaw and Casemiro although Casemiro looks scared to properly play as he does for fear of a red card, our build up play is slow as feck, we can’t play one or two touch and always need a third or fourth so invite the press or lose the ball.

Our form since the league cup final:
W - 7 (8 if you count a penalty shootout win)
D - 3
L - 5

I don't think we will get top 4 anymore. Liverpool will win there last 3 games for sure, I can't see us winning the last 4. This team is toothless, I cannot wait for a revamp in summer, at least 8 of this lot can go.

They are tired. Too many games this season with a limited squad.

We should have flunked the Europa League.
It’s more the absurd frequency of midweek games coupled with a World Cup smack in the middle of the season. I wish more of our fans would grow the feck up and understand this rather than calling the players lazy and cowards.

Bunch of ccharacterless bottlers void of ideas and passion. Seem to have lost the desire and the faith. Tired my arse.

Players take 95% of the blame but I'm starting to lose a bit of faith in ETH and his coaching staff.

We are capable of being rubbish, no doubt. But if you can't see the overall difference between last season and this I cant help you.

Think back to August. We were a mess. We've had some fantastic displays this year.

Tonight was a shambles.

A Burnley reject loanee is a very very strange hill for ETH to die on. Because he will be dying on it if this keeps on

Why have Garnacho on the bench if you don't want to use him? Least he actually runs, and can put the ball in the blinking net and create assists

DDG has no fear of being dropped, so can continue to blunder away

Martial and Sancho are not players you want to bring on when needing to fight. They're luxury players who are fine when you're leading

The players need to take a long hard look at themselves. Yet it'll only be the fans who feel hurt when we have to watch us drop out of top 4 to Liverpool. The players won't care as they'll still get their fat wages

The Thursday Sunday schedule is what has contributed to us falling apart this season. Guess we'll be repeating it next season

The Glazers need to fecking announce what's happening about ownership. We need Sheikh Jassim.

this is it. City scored from outside of the box with first shot on target against Leeds, Arsenal did the same today.
We have 4 great chances from outside the box when dont get an attempt on target.

It’s not an excuse. When was the last time a team midweek fixtures for 5 months straight? It’s simple biology but not simple enough for some apparently

Liverpool have Leicestar away, rhey will be fighting for their lives. Then Villa away an southampton (hopefuly still in the game).

How many times this season (and to be honest, in the last few seasons) have we started on the front foot, looked in control but not taken out chances, then concede and literally fall apart to the point where teams press us and we can’t string a couple of passes together? Then those chances we were creating dry up and we look under pressure at the back and toothless up front.

This performance tonight is one we’ve seen so many times over the last few seasons.

Now, I do think losing both your first choice Centre half’s is part of the reason for this. But it’s still not good enough.

The starting lineup was bad bad bad!
Weghorst and Malacia should not even be on the team bus.

No and no. What they had was fight and didn't want to lose. Once we gifted them a goal it was always an uphill task.

But isn't the manager's job to instill "fight" into the players? Or perhaps "fight" is just another attribute of the players themselves.

The last ten minutes was how we should of been playing since we went one nil down.

Our away form since winning the cup:

@ Liverpool 0-7
@ Newcastle 0-2
@ Forest 2:0
@ Spurs 2-2
@ Brighton 0-1
@ West Ham 0-1

4 points...

It looks like a bad squad management since we went all in for the Mickey Mouse trophy. Questions should be asked.

Tonight was a shambles.

What fantastic displays have we had? Honestly? You can discount all of the away games we’ve played in the league, none of them were amazing performances.

I can’t think of a home game where we’ve hammered someone, given our goal difference.

like I said after the Brighton game, we’ve had some decent cup runs where we’ve played one decent team. It’s been a shambles glossed over with a few cup runs
