Bruno ran his socks off in the game. The pitch was terrible which made it difficult to play.
TBH 20-30p would be good enough nowMount and Rasmus must come out of that with huge brownie points with Amorim. They made an impact off the bench and then some. Also thought Antony looks neat off the bench.
Rashford - take £20-£30m and get him off the books, the regression in his game is staggering
Just created nothing, so slow to attack.First game I’ve missed in years, how did we do? Just seen their first goal. Terrible.
RWB - he looked a bit lost at 10 for the first 50-60 mins TBHCan’t work out if Amad is better at WB or 10. I hope Mount gets a run now. He seems ready.
I’m not sure you know what lucky means.
Is it really? The issue with these players is their lack of consistency. While the substitutes may have looked sharp today, these are the same players who have started in previous matches and failed to deliver at the same level. It’s a recurring problem.
I think United deserved to win. So no. Unless you feel they weren’t the better team?Is fortuitous a better word?
Well done little buddy, that is correctWhich is in the top 24 isn't it?
I think so. I'd say the biggest question marks are currently over who plays the wing backs, but I would personally pick something like this for most games:
Hojlund
Mount Amad
Shaw Ugarte Bruno Dalot
Martinez De Light Mazraoui
Onana
It's not to say I think they are good enough long term, I just think they offer the closest to what Amorim wants right now.
Shaw played LWB for EnglandShaw hasn’t played a single minute at left wing, so it’s impossible to say how he’ll perform in that role.
As for Dalot, I just don’t think he’s good enough. It feels like he’s got a higher opinion of his abilities than what he actually shows on the pitch.
Mount and Højlund are a bit hit or miss at the moment. Højlund is a necessity right now due to limited options, but Mount often goes missing for long stretches in games, with very little impact.
That said, if they get a consistent run of games together, hopefully they can start building some chemistry, which will lead to more cohesive and improved performances overall.

And how long was it before he got injured again, if he plays it has to be LCB because he will break down within half an hour as a LWBShaw played LWB for England
Should play Mount as much as possible in this system. Works so hard without the ball and can play pretty well. Really unlucky in his finishing whilst at United.I thought Mount changed the game for us, much more urgency and intensity, and that spread throughout the team. Decent 2nd half performance.
Rashford and Zirkzee need benching for the foreseeable.
We'll make a pigs ear of it .... they'll be up for it and we'll probably sneak it in the endBring on Rangers. Cautiously confident of an easy win against them. Third in a two team league and never great away from home in Europe...
Same here - thanks to DAZN - what a terrible streamer. Always seem to have “technical issues” which their staff are working on.First game I’ve missed in years, how did we do? Just seen their first goal. Terrible.
Bruno dead ball lead to second goal. Malacia is improving every match.Rashford was a waste of space and provided zero effort to go with it. Should not be playing for this team. Zirkzee was for the most part shit, but didn't lack for effort, he just doesn't appear to be very good.
Bruno was his usual self mostly crap, with a few nice passes and glimpses of quality here and there. Why the hell he takes most of our dead balls is beyond me. he usually never clears his first man and he is an awful free kick / corner taker. Probably the worst in the league at it for someone who is supposed to be a specialist.
Malacia is not good enough and is a nothing player.
Mount changed the game and gave us energy and bite further up the pitch but missed chances he should be putting away at this level. I give him a pass because he tried hard and made us wake up from the slumber we were in for the first 60 minutes.
Antony came on and for his first 2 touches seemingly was unable to control the ball but then seemed to put together a reasonable partnership with Amad that made us quite threatening down that side.
Garnacho came on and didn't look that bothered and made some lackadaisical back passes that almost got us into trouble. Doesn't seem to like this system.
Best players were Hojlund and Amad, the former with a nice couple of goals and at least trying to get in the end of the various crosses served up. The latter are only real quality in attack.
The less said about Onana the better.
And their fans are real gentlemen too. We look forward to welcoming them to Manchester.Bring on Rangers. Cautiously confident of an easy win against them. Third in a two team league and never great away from home in Europe...
Call them "rude fecking pies" and watch them go. It's like winding up a knockoff Buckaroo. And their fans are real gentlemen too. We look forward to welcoming them to Manchester.
Maybe, or......We'll make a pigs ear of it .... they'll be up for it and we'll probably sneak it in the end
How was it lucky or fortuitous? They had one big chance in the game and they scored on it. The chance was entirely self inflicted from us.
We scored 2. The "lucky" free kick that led to the second goal was a clear handball. Our players wasted a ton of chances to put the game away including missing a 3 on 1. I can't share images but please see stats in below link (remove spaces before comments) and reconsider which team was lucky
