That is comfortably the best we've played post ferguson. Dominated the ball like. LVG but had about 10x more chances. sooner or later the goals will start coming in bucketloads

She’s right though. She’s a broadcaster of course she’s going to mention one of the greatest players of all time leaving the match in a strop. It’s a talking point and it would be crazy for Amazon to ignore it.

Ronaldo knows this though. Hence why he did it. Would it have killed him to sit down for 5 more minutes?
That’s the thing though, at the time nothing was confirmed. Don’t know if you go to games? But I’ve seen subs feck off down the tunnel plenty of times. Obviously after ten haags interview this wasn’t something spoken about so Ronaldo likely did just throw a strop but there was no waiting for the fact, it was immediately let’s make a thing of it. Not sure how she’s right either? Most people watching atm are United fans who will want the focus to be on that performance not a sub walking down the tunnel in the 85th minute…lazy journalism.

Not sure when Spurs were supposed to have had 48% of possession as the stats suggest, but it wasn't in the game I watched. They looked like us under Jose, 2 passes and they give it away, and could barely get out of their half.

You have no idea how good Casemiro is! This is coming from a Real Madrid who has enjoyed watching him for a decade! At the start of the season, it takes a while for him to get in shape but from January you'll see a world class player. Enjoy!
He gets even better? I'm not sure my soul can take it

I know he gets results, and we were fantastic but that performance and set up from Tottenham showed me why so many on here didn't want Conte apart from when times were desperate with Ole

It was blatently obvious what it was. We don’t need to wait days to be told what it was. I’m happy we got to hear ETH unfiltered response to the incident it gives us clear transparency.

more non united fans watched that game btw.

Yes. Lloris pulled off some great saves from Rashford who is not the most clinical but those were decent shots.

Brilliant performance. Put Kane in that team in the summer for me. Perfect style of play that would suit him down to the ground.

What, post match? Doubt that somehow

Essentially Thierry was saying Rashford did all the hard work to make the space then nails it straight at the keeper. One of the others made the comment that "not everyone has your brain though Thierry" and Thierry said "Well he has got a brain so he should use it" which caused a chuckle from Shearer and Evra.

The whole performance was just great. I am so happy!

Really great to see the whole team keeping their level and intensity for the entire 94 mins on the pitch. So many times we've seen the team go in and out of concentration so if they can keep this up, we will really be strong. We definitely need to be this good and more for the game against Chelsea!

For the moment, all the players, coaches everyone did us proud today. A great all around team performance.

Dominant. Glad we won because the way the lads worked, on and off the ball, deserved three points. You worried at half time with the chances we wasted. In the end justice was done.

Fantastic, front to back. It’s been a long, long time coming. Well done all, and ETH.

WHAT A PERFORMANCE. WHAT A GAME. BRILLIANT. I'll stop shouting.

Super performance. Like to thing that Spurs looking so bad was down to us.
This brought back memories of the good old days.
Ronaldo should never play for United again. If your ego is so big that you cannot enjoy that your team is playing well without you then feck of.
Finally, well played by Fred but that shot from him that leads to the goal, if that was not deflected, it would have been embarrassing.

Thanks.

How often do we dominate a full 90 mins... I can't remember the last time. Magnificent

I thought she did it very well. Left until basically the end of Erik's interview and approached it in a kind of 'sorry, but I have to ask you this' manner. She'll probably have had the programme director wittering away in her ear all the time telling her to ask him too.

The best DMC in history you can be sure of that. You don't win 5 Champions Leagues, capped and in charge of midfield as well as being capped for Brazil if you're not the best. I cried when he left!

There’s more premier league fans in the world than United fans believe it or not. Unless you think Bournemouth vs Southampton is the game the world is watching.
I’m talking about the post match punditry.. I imagine most neutrals would have turned off by then. At that point it will mostly be United fans tuning in. Also Amazon prime U.K. does not broadcast worldwide.

Emphatic!

Fans just need to ignore the endless negativity from the media about the club.

Every player gave their all tonight and looked soooooo comfortable on the ball.

Love It!
This, Need a Twitter hashtag or whatever you young folks do to remind the fans to not click on all the media rubbish. Would help a lot to tune out that shit and just concentrate on supporting the manager in trying to help us progress and eventually get that success we all want. The media doesn't want that for us so we should IGNORE them...

Stoked we got ETH. We look like we have a plan and we’re sticking to it. The players are sharper, the system works, and the team is buying into it.
Casemiro, Martinez, Antony: have we ever had 3 big signings come good immediately? Casemiro took a couple sub appearances to get fit, but so many problems disappeared when he and Martinez got in the team. We control the tempo, Cas and Eriksen are two who can play glorious passes, and our defense is calm and ruthless. Our nonexistent right side is now a genuine threat. That moment in this game when Antony just left 2 or 3 spurs players for dead was pure

This was arguably one of the most dominant team displays I have seen from United in a while. I first expected a cagey affair since it was Antonio Conte on the other side, but we really bossed Tottenham from back to front as if they were not in the same league at all. If it wasn't for Lloris, the scoreline could easily have been a resounding 5-0 or 6-0.

Bring on Chelsea!

We’ve had odd results like this over the past 10 years but it’s generally been where De Gea has had the game of his life and we’ve nicked one on the break. This team is different, we are dominating the ball and De Gea is a virtual spectator.

Tonight was a fantastic watch, so enjoyable.

And Someone said he is LVG 2.0.

One more thing. We started a bit poor but took over quickly in the first half.

But what was really impressive is that we kept it up and actually pushed on in the 2nd half.

We were frustrated by Spuds and gone in the tunnel at HT with nothing to show for great play and what did we do? We came up like a rocket and scored instantly in the 2nd half.

Just so refreshing to see us keep the pressure up even if it's just the Spuds

To be fair to Spurs they did miss Kuluševski, Richarlison and Son tonight.
