That was great, now to keep this level week in week out.

. So glad we got ETH and not Conte.

How is this Tottenham ahead of us in the table? Hopefully that doesn't last much longer as they are truly awful, don't deserve to be in CL.

Goes to show what a top manager can do with a talented but committed group.

It's the Varane-Martinez partnership that allows us to play like today.

You would never ever never get that calmness and awereness with the Harry - Victor duo.

The whole team changes....the narrative changes....suddenly, we're not panicking anymore.
Even De Gea's clearances are almost a chance and not a fifth row clearence.

We're a changed team.

About fecking time.
Just thinking about Maguire-Lindelof gives me anxiety. Such a massive upgrade it isn’t even funny.

I love his passing.

Sure, Madrid fans said it was just average, that it wasn't his best feature. But I suspect that was because they compared him to Kroos and Modric...

And those are ridiculous, there is literally only 1 player in the league on their level and that's KDB.

That was just so good to watch, Tottenham are a very good side and we just dismantled them over the course of the match, at the end they had nothing. Just had the number on them throughout. We got ourselves a good manager at last.

What a brilliant performance from beginning to end, one of the best in years. For those who lazily compared ten Hag to Van Gaal, shame on you.

Our best performance in a long long long time. We completely dominated spurs and could've scored way more. ETH masterclass.

It was so dominant that I forgot we were playing spurs... Felt like one those teams that we're expected to manhandle in the Europa League.

How is Fred leading Man of the Match?

Class performance across the board. Only disappointment was Sancho but you couldn't say he was bad, just anonymous. Very pleased for Bruno, Dalot, Rashford, Fred, Antony...all will have taken confidence from the way they played I think.

Good performance. Very surprised we pressed so well and played with so much energy, didn't see this performance coming.

Spurs were really dreadful, they looked like a relegation candidate rather than a team currently in 3rd.

Absolutely brilliant today. There are some negatives, but I refuse to talk about them. We absolutely battered them. Loved every second of it, now lets do the same to the other tiny london club.

very good performance today! Best I’ve seen for a while. Fred MOTM for me

Now, that was the best performance I’ve seen from the team in donkeys years! Fantastic performance from the team and individually, we dominated them from start to finish, with and without the ball. 2-0 flatters Spurs, if it wasn’t for a top display from Lloris then it could have been 4 or 5. Fred, Bruno, Casemiro, Martinez and Varane were all excellent.

She was trying to make a thing of Ronaldo going off. And he moreoreless said you don’t know what’s gone on, media will try and make a thing of it but let’s actually focus on the game.

She’s right though. She’s a broadcaster of course she’s going to mention one of the greatest players of all time leaving the match in a strop. It’s a talking point and it would be crazy for Amazon to ignore it.

Ronaldo knows this though. Hence why he did it. Would it have killed him to sit down for 5 more minutes?

Really impressed team played well.

Sancho and Anthony were ineffective going forwards. Maybe we should get them to swap wings.

That was such a good and complete performance, brilliant  dominated the game from 1st to 90th minute, haven't seen that for God knows how long.

That was the best we've played under ETH, and the way United should be playing. Lovely.
More progress in two months with ETH than in three and a half years with Ole.
Which proves the rebuild doesn't need to take bloody years.
Well done. We finally have a world class manager. At last.

You have no idea how good Casemiro is! This is coming from a Real Madrid who has enjoyed watching him for a decade! At the start of the season, it takes a while for him to get in shape but from January you'll see a world class player. Enjoy!

I’m not sure anybody really stood out, it was just really good from everybody, a proper team performance. Everybody did well and played their part, more of that at the weekend please.

I think we played exceptionally well. Sancho was the only one to make a lot of mistakes from min 1 and Rashford could've scored a couple but I don't care, it was wonderful to watch us press and keep the ball so beautifully. For once, the talk is all about a poor opponent. We killed it!

We played suspiciously well, one of the best games I can remember. Probably means we will get smashed against Chelsea.
