Rollercoaster, this time out of the grave. Hah !
Onana was very good today as wellAmad is the only one who is playing without fear
I think the only positive that I see with United is Amad nailing down the right AM or RWB role. Hat trick in 14 mins to save this game. I think Zirkzee needs to start ahead of Hoijund. Zirkzee offers alot more to our game with distribution then Hoijund who practically does nothing almost all the games. How can Amorim continue to start Hoijund is beyond me?
1. Huge win in our relegation battle. Need 3 or 4 more wins and we should be safe.
2. If Ruben Amorim is really serious about changing the culture and turning things around, the first step needs to be making the team selection merit-based. Collyer and Zirkzee deserve starts on Sunday vs Brighton after their performances tonight. Both players changed the game when they came on.
3. What more needs to be said about Amad that hasn't already been said. What a player.
same here. It’s sad to see.I'm losing faith in hojlund
I still don't think he gets enough passes, but he doesn't do enough to get the team up the pitch
Largely awful and undeserved. Southampton are a hopeless side which tells you all about how poor we were.
Equally, I've loathed Southampton since May 1 1976. So they can get that right up them.
He didn’t start playing good until Antony came on though so we have to think about the bigger picture effectI’m going to keep an eye on the MOTM vote because it’s undeniably Amad right?
There LW was quality aswell. Rinsed Yoro all game
Don't like how many aren't giving Zirkzee credit for changing this game. Came up huge for us and provided the platform from which Amad went into hyperdrive.
1. Amad
2. Zirkzee
3. Onana
We have some serious self reflection to do because Brighton will absolutely maul us if we play anything like that against them.
Worrying. Sulemana make Yoro look like a hungover Sunday League player.
Basic stats for the 2nd halfPoor first half but we absolutely battered them in the second half. Many chances didn't go in until the equaliser and then the floodgates opened.
