Amad had a poor game IMO till about the 70th minute, but hey, do that every week and score a hat trick lad. Quality came through.

So many question marks over some players though. Garnacho just has no football intelligence. Feel like we need an entirely new left side.

I was bellyaching for most of that we needed to get our wingbacks forward. Low and behold we did and our right wing back scores a hat-trick and wins us the game. Don't hold it against me for feeling more than a little self-satisfied amongst all the relief.

Amorim has already spelled out where we come up short and lo and behold, he's being completely transparent. Yoro was torn to shreds and they targeted that chipped pass over Mazraoui too to a decent effect. Our possession game in the final third is super poor. We are still a counter attacking team and it'll take a while for Amorim to turn us into a progressive side.

Amad amazing. De Ligt the other standout performer I thought.

Amad did well, what a player, always worked and I've seen him play better in other games. De Ligt did well, shout out to the subs Zirkzee and Collyer. Yoro struggled and I don't think Mazraoui is a wingback, better as a RCB imo.

We were bad for a lot of that, but the refereeing team almost helped to micro-manage a Southampton win.

Shocking really. Zirkzee coming on changed the game in our favour but it still took Amad being unleashed for us to really do anything. He’s so far above every performer we’ve had all season, he’s virtually a 1 man team.

Amorim didn’t set us up right and should take some blame for that but his subs were positive and did change the game.

Poor first half but we absolutely battered them in the second half. Many chances didn't go in until the equaliser and then the floodgates opened.

Where we need to be on th efront foot, Zirkzee is a better option than rasmus.

But what we need more than anything is an actual 20 goal striker. More than wing backs, more than goalies or midfielders.

If we can only have one new signing, it has to be someone to put the ball in the net.

I think the only positive that I see with United is Amad nailing down the right AM or RWB role. Hat trick in 14 mins to save this game. I think Zirkzee needs to start ahead of Hoijund. Zirkzee offers alot more to our game with distribution then Hoijund who practically does nothing almost all the games. How can Amorim continue to start Hoijund is beyond me?
