Forest celebrating like they won a cup after beating a team that hasn’t won 2 in a row in the league

Played ok. Says a lot about the league when this Forest are third. If we could finish or find a man in the box with a cross we would be dangerous.

Main thing I took from tonight was what an absolute bunch of snide, cheating, time wasting twats Forest are. fecking embarassing the state of them. Special mention to their keeper time-wasting from mid way through the first half, Williams and Yates.

Some nice football but I think Forest were pretty happy to let us have it for most of the evening, knowing outside of Bruno (who didn't have his best game) we lack the quality to make any use of the possession.

Performance wasn't bad. No cutting edge though. Lots of shots, very few clear chances though. All in the front 3 for me though, mainly the strikers .. we just don't have one. Maguire up top is far more dangerous than Hojlund or Zirkzee and that's just bad. Garnacho had a wasteful day, but also was by far our biggest threat so I can forgive off days in decision making when you keep going like him.

Dorgu was a bit shit. Pretty disappointed how Elanga got away from him so easily on that counter, looked like Dorgu was running with the hand brake on and just let him go thinking the others would get him.

The build up is improving and apart from that one counter I don't feel like Forest created anything, so defence looks alright.

The attack will come with signings as we've got nothing to offer going forward with this current crop.

That was a decent performance and should have got a draw but just didn’t have the cutting edge today and desperately unlucky not to score at the end.

Looking at that team, we just need a little bit more quality in the final third and we win this game. Hopefully luck is on our side on Sunday.

I thought we played some decent football against a defensively decent team. Garnacho doesn't do well against mid/low block teams, he's more suited as an outlet when we're playing low block.. We desperately need creative players up top.

Forest away has been a tough game for many teams this season.
There was some tidy play from us, did enough for a least a draw, but not for the first time we're lacking the killer instinct, some of the decisions making in the final third erratic at times (not for the first time) Maguire offer the most threat after coming on. Onana didn't have much to do. You've got to take a tactical foul for the Elanga goal. Diallo plays tonight we win

I’m usually quite positive to be fair, but even I’m surprised at the amount of positivity I’m seeing here tonight, thought we were shocking to be frank. Rubbish night but Forest are a side that are much better and tailor made to be difficult for us.

Yet another frustrating loss in such a frustrating season. Forest outside of their goal on the counter did nothing offensively. Defended well especially that clearance off the line at the end but United was toothless and probably wouldn't score if that game was played for another 90 mins.

For all the people wanting to rip into Garmacho right now, I would say to you… can I join in?… BUT let’s not be quick to do it because looking at Anthony Elektra tonight I’m having to face all the times I ripped him before. I’ve said things man. And he did us DIRTY tonight. He looked like Anthony Mbappe. Sure, there were some moments where he showed flashes of what we were frustrated with before, but a lot of us would swap him for *insert player* right now.

Maybe we just need to be patient? I dunno. I don’t have the answers.

If only he was half as good as he thinks he is. Can't beat a man, can't pick a player out and can't score. Other than that he nailed it. A real 2/10 performance. Put him in the bin!
