 I can imagine the frustration most of you must be going through. United are doing a major Torres here.

I mean, you gave us serious trouble in the CL just a few years ago ffs.
really? come back here after you see real madrid finish 7th, or sit 5th after 26 games, or continuously outplayed by mediocre sides, etc.

I'm going travelling for 8 weeks with a girl who hates football next Thursday. This initially was a depressing prospect for me.

Suddenly, the idea of going 8 weeks without watching football is so satisfying to me.

Believe me you can't imagine it. Its not a case of us being arrogant or spoilt. The drop off over these 3 years has been absolutely spectacular. One for the history books. Didn't take long at all. It was instant and shit. that's all I can say

One of the top comments on the daily mail....

"The team that beat Manchester United tonight had not played for 2 months and have won once in their last 10 games. An absolute damning indictment of how terrible Manchester United are"

Are those stats true does anyone know?

Yes that is true.

Woodward should be sacked along with LVG for insisting, idiotically, on keeping LVG in a job. The incompetence of that fraud is spectacular. And, as always, the real blame must lie with the bloodsuckers who own our club. This is what reaping what you sow looks like.

Normal result really. Wasn't really surprised.

What did the fraud say post match?

Murphy's Law.
I think he watched Interstellar last night and had the name "Murphy" on his mind, so started using that name.
I actually think he prepared his excuses before the game was lost and probably laughed while coming up with the "Murphy" excuse.
To cut a long story short, he knew we were crap...but couldn't say that on national TV.

That sounds like fun mate. You have to wean yourself off it somehow.

Let's face it the team is dead and LvG has no clue on how to revive it. There is no chemistry, no confidence, no teamwork and no will to win games in this team and LvG is the man responsible for it.

But what hurts the most is that I somewhat expected it. Especially against the smaller teams I come to suspect to see our very worst on display and I'm not even angry anymore as I used to be for the last couple of months, I'm just disappointing and feel hollow inside. Watching us play football atm sucks the joy out of my life.

Only positive aspect for me right now is to realize that maybe Rooney isn't the root of all evil in this club as I suspected not too long ago.

So you think Januzaj would've helped us?
Personally, I don't think Januzaj is good enough to even be on our bench (at this moment in time), let alone play in the team.
If he can get some match fitness/practise in the reserves, he can prove he is ready for a 1st team opportunity. But I don't think that time is now.

Now, the other attacker who left us - Hernandez - that's a different proposition. He could've helped us.

I'm not saying that at all. I think this would have been a good game, though, to play him in.

No leadership on the field or in the dressing room. Moyes got rid of all of them.
Usually against such weak teams one would expect a top team's midfield would embarrass them with controlled passing and creativity.
This was a game that Mata should have controlled but as usual he does very little besides hopping around the field looking to get in to box as often and quickly as he can.
I feel so sorry for Martial, he arrived at the club at least 3 seasons too late.

Ive been saying this for a while now.
Apparently the serial winners like Ronaldo and Ibra are not good enough for us.
Even Di Maria was not MUFC standard.
Jose (for all his wins/trophies)...not good enough.
There are also some fans who believe we can win the Europa League. <<this is my recent favourite.
And lets not forget the fans who cannot understand why a player would want to go from MUFC to Madrid.

I can only assume that these fans don't actually watch us play and perhaps are not even aware of the score-lines of matches we are playing.
He was a shambles here. You must know that. You, unlike those people, surely watch our games.

Murphy's law .. every game he gave us a reason for bad performance and to me that gives the players a good reason to not put in a shift as the boss will come out supporting them. Full of shit.

Moyes did not sell anyone....

A Danish team from Jutland formed in 1999 while we were winning the treble has now overtaken us:lol:

I'm laughing because it prob should have been more only for Romero.

I ask myself how it's come to this after almost every game and I still have no answers. I can't think of a bigger, richer club or franchise that is so badly underperforming across all sports.

LOL, just LOL. It'd be bad enough that we lost to a team that before today none of us could have probably even proven actually existed, that hasn't played a game in months...but the fact that nobody is really surprised, and rather expected it, tells you everything you need to know.

We lost to a team that I'd wager at least a few members of the Cafe could probably be in the first eleven for.

What needs to happen for this abortion of a season to be deemed unacceptable to the men in charge, and a change to be made? Seriously?

After the talk of "sparkling" football and title winning form, the wheels unsurprisingly come off in spectacular fashion. It really is as simple as this United team is not very good.

After going through one season with no European football with a stretched squad it is unbelievable that LVG decided to reduce squad numbers further for this season. The injuries are not bad luck or "Murphy's Law". It's down to poor squad management and a lack of rotation.

The season is getting worse and there are absolutely no signs of improvement under this management team. Replacing the manager is an absolute no brainer. As was obvious under Moyes, the longer he stays the worse things will get.

Dreadful performance.
Cannot believe how mediocre players simply run right though our midfield & defense with such ease. Tactics were awful, players looking half arsed & sticking to a philosophy that just doesn't do it. All down to poor management. Yes we have injuries, but still had enough quality in that squad to beat Midtjylland.
Get Giggs or someone in to take over. Van Gaal has lost the players & looks completely lost as a manager. Had such high hopes for him, but enough is enough, Woodie needs to wield the axe.

Didn't stay up to watch as not in Europe. You are telling me we got outplayed?!

I honestly thought we were gonna get surprised and would have a hard game but it seems from your description (I didn't watch) we were truly horrid... did the players show any fight?
