Post-match discussion

Not particularly impressive, not sure if Ruud would have set us up better but I think there's change afoot so I'll take the point and move on.

Not surprised by that. We are a very ordinary team with a lot of problems. He's going to need time to fix this but I hope he quickly identifies the key areas of improvement. Casemiyou'o, Eriksen, Bruno, Garnacho and Rashford offered little on the ball and off the ball. If your core is weak this is the kind of shit display you get.

The changes he made in the second half definitely stifled Ipswich and they didn’t really do much after that.

Hopefully he’s learnt that Casemiro and Eriksen is a horror combination, and Evans is a relief player.

Naming two players with questionable team play and workmate in the front three was always going to make it a problem.

He'll learn.

We have 0 idea what to do with the ball when it's in the final third, it's worrying to see and I think this is still going to be a very shakey season.

that start was just too good to be true, will need some more time with the new formation

Amad needs to be higher up the pitch, not a wingback

Mid table mediocrity , poor performance , draw the ,most we deserved. Going to be a long road ahead t o get this club back on track. So many average low intensity players.

Frankly, we have one offensive player that is Premier League quality. We can't play him as a wingback ever again.

Truly dreadful game from everyone bar Onana and Amal.

Disappointed with a draw after a dream start. One thing for sure, Amorim is not lying when he said we will see the idea. I can see it today. Early early days still.

Same shite we've seen for the past decade. Can't string a few passes together, no pace, stupid decision making.

Feck off Rashford

I actually thought it was a decent performance, the team structurally was sound just let down by some players not understanding where or how to occupy the spaces in loose balls.

Evans and Garnacho were awful, I watched Evans closely didn't know when to step forward or hold his position. He's got zero future at United in a 3 man defensive line.

Bruno, Maz and Onana had relatively good games and I'd put Diallo in the decent but shows promise category.

That was really shit. Quite a head scratching team selection. Dalot as a left wingback is just weird. Thought he'd be shite there and he was.

Didn't understand Garnacho in the 10. He doesn't work there. Rather see Zirkzee get about physically. Eriksen was also a weird choice.

It looked very experimental I guess. He punted on a few players and probably learned a lot from them.

Terrible performance all round, but I'm not really concerned. He's barely had any time with the players so far and it will take time for them to adjust to a new system. Based on his pre-match comments, I very much doubt that will be our starting line up in 2-3 weeks time.

That was a bit shit, few square pegs in circle holes and all that.

Time on his side obviously so no drama.

If Amorim wasn’t aware of the job he has on his hands before he certainly has now. That was absolutely pathetic, this group of players are the most unenthusiastic, uncoachable bunch of pricks I’ve ever seen playing for this club.

Much better 2nd half than the first, at least got some control there. Eriksen, Casemiro and Evans struggled defensively, Casemiro was sloppy on the ball. Mazraoui also didn't play that well imo.

Amad and Bruno the stand outs from us really. Glad Shaw was back, hope he can stay fit as he makes a big difference.

We need Amad in an attacking position, we have no body else.

We have some atrocious football players

Early days but same old same old. Now this manager is stuck with the shite that ETH signed. And so the cycle goes on.

Never gonna play the way Amorim wants with Rashford, Casemiro, Eriksen and others.

Amad was good.

Eriksen and Casemiro don't have the legs or the intensity to play midfield in Amorim's system
Dalot not a good LWB
Evans too old to play in this system
Mazraoui is good but shouldn't be part of the back 3
Rashford shouldn't be the starting 9
Garnacho's decision making means that regardless of his record he should be on the bench
Zirkzee just doesn't look it

Amad probably the most positive, looks decent in that RWB

Predictably shit. Not on Amorim, he’s had days to get hold of some of these players. Our players look like they couldn’t give two shits sometimes and we seem to create so little.

Onana MOTM.

Ipswich looked like they wanted it more, played some nice stuff.

Taylor a cnut not giving them a single yellow, especially Delap.

A mess again for the most part. Never look like scoring enough goals.

Ten haagian. Had the great start, played well then faded and didn’t change things up when Ipswich had the momentum. Onana won us a point.

Trust the process. New system, only a few days work. He’ll learn about the shit he needs to deal with is.
