Post-match discussion

I am sick.
Absolutely sickening.

Zlatan was crap.
Pogba was crap.
Mhki was borderline crap.
Rooney was crap.
Rashford huffed and puffed but was crap at a decisive moment.

We.Are.Crap.

Rant over.

We're actually shit.

It's Hull fecking City for crying out loud.

Maybe we are cursed. Back to being a cup team. In all honesty, what the fecking hell was that? Our league position is completely deserved. The most disappointing thing is after all the hard work clawing our way back to contention we've missed 2 glorious chances to close the gap. We were playing Hull at home - there is just no excuse.

We have joint most draws in the Premier League season yet people are still defending José? He still doesn't know what his best team is ffs. This is getting ridiculous.

He does know what his best team is but he picks certain players on personality rather than ability.

Didn't see he whole game but looks like yet another keeper had the game of he's life.

Our finshing is poor and needs addressing ASAP.

Liverpool will get walloped by hull at the weekend they have turned a corner with marco silva, they are playing with a purpose now and seem to know what their doing.

It's just bad luck, it will balance itself out until the end of the season. white text

Don't think it is bad luck when it's the same trend as we've seen in a lot of games. Not enough intensity from the start, not enough players offering a threat in behind/stretching the game and too many players giving the ball away cheaply and poor finishing.

I don't think you can doubt the general quality of the players but I'd say it's pretty debatable if we're really getting enough out of them.

It's not that every keeper that comes to OT is a playing out of their skin.

It's that our finishing is shit and we aren't very good.

JM looked a beaten man in that interview.

I think he realizes he in the toughest job of his career to get us even to be a team that can get to 4 level never mind seriously challenge for a title. There is hundreds of millions gone into this Utd squad and it still looks very average.

Mkhitaryan and Martial's link up play vs Wigan on the counter was absolutely deadly Mata played well with Martial too withbthe silky skill and first touches between each other.

So Mourinho puts Martial down by saying he didnt play well enough to earn his place and drops him and benches Mata too...

I'm starting to see why Mourinho lost his dressing room at Chelsea.

5+ keepers don't have the game of their lives at OT. It's just us being piss poor at finishing. Mata should've buried that. Utter crap.

Whole team has beeb poor but I'm done with Pogba and I would drop him. I'm not some old fashioned bloke of fifty, moaning about modern footballers but seriously, cut all this marketing crap out, he clearly isn't up to standard and needs to be told.

Horrific performances offering no more than any other top six team midfielder.

Well this was basically the best team or the team we've played most with. Except I would put Martial instead of Rashford.
Martial for Rashford, Shaw for Blind and Bailly for Jones. That's 3 crucial positions.

Not only that, clearly this team aren't motivated and it is his job to do that.

Every time we have a chance to close the gap, we monumentally feck it up! That was so abject. And what's with the automatic Rooney substitution. Has it actually worked even once this season? (And Martial isn't playing well enough to start). Jose can come out and say that stuff when his first team performs. Right now, they are letting him down.

AND... IBRA was the most frustrating all night. Can't stay on-side. If he stays onside, can't avoid fouling the defender or the goal keeper. It was his worst performance for United in my book.

I just can't comprehend how we start games so casually and with so little intensity.

It's the same point I made back in October. These players do not work hard enough.

Lack of creativity was a killer tonight. Martial actually put a few good crosses in the last game so I don't know why he wasn't playing.

It was just mindless balls into the box and very Moyes esque. I don't blame the ref at all.

Such a shame after yesterdays results but the amount of goals we score over the last 3 seasons is still the same. There was a bit of promise that we were creating chances and not putting them away but we often slip into this sideways lay offs and aimless crosses of hope football. too many players picking up the ball who couldn't play a decent ball in to save their lives and we end up with 50 goals and around 6th place.

Also doesn't help we have one striker who's hitting the net in Ibra and when he's off we have to look to Rooney who's clearly not scoring. Rashford who's not ready yet and stopped. United should have 3-4 top strikers who can create something out of nothing if the other guy is not working.

That was an absolutely pitiful performance.

Why, with the incentive to move within touching distance of second place, did we play with so little urgency? It was insulting to see the players in second gear.

Why, with the cast of attackers we have, are we repeatedly awful in front of goal? Some of our finishing is embarrassing when you consider the alleged calibre of players we have to call upon. 33 goals in the league tells its own story.

Why does Martial get marginalised by Mourinho, but Rashford get away unscathed? I'm not surprised the former is apparently agitating behind the scenes if he can't get on the pitch tonight.

From top to bottom, it's just not fecking good enough. We can talk about the refs, we can talk about Hull's time wasting, but this was the bottom of the table we played at home tonight. There's just no excuses.

Feel majorly downcast watching us again. Yes, we create more chances, which we miss, but there's still no major pattern of play and we are still absolutely miles off challenging the top sides. Fuming.

We have the strange tendency to guide the ball straight at the keeper. Like there's some sort of magnetic pull.

I honestly don't understand how our finishing can be this bad.

Just looking on newsnow for any mourinho quotes and theres something on Zlatan loves Napoli would love to play for them, so hes had enough and will be off at the end of the season then

Absolutely ridiculous again, every time our rivals drop points we don't capitalise on it. Martial has certainly done enough to warrant a place in the starting line up, we really needed him tonight, he needs to let it be now.

We need to make scoring in the first half a matter of life and death. If we concede we concede, at least that should motivate us even more. These flat starts are costing us and it builds the nervousness and complete lack of composure in the second half.

There was only one save that was really spectacular and it was more just throwing his body in the way and hoping for the best. We didn't create enough or do enough with the chances we had.

Havent watched the entire game yet but when a striker does not score against Hull, i blame the Striker and not the ones around him
