Everton 1:1 Manchester United

Post-match discussion

For those looking for scapegoats other than Fellaini (or Mourinho). Dont.

We were fine until that oaf came on the pitch. It was totally unecessary. Mourinho to blame considering he has Morgan and Bastian at his disposal. Even TFM.

Unexcusable that yet another manager has put his trust in that donkey.

Pogba, Herrera etc. didnt have the best of games but they worked their bollocks off and a 1-0 result at everton would be a good result.

I'm really tired of this season. Don't think watching United is good for my heart and I'm fecking 20.

Why bring on Fellaini when Bailly is on the bench. 9 points behind city, season over in December again. And Pogba really needs to Fecking release the ball quickly. He slows down our play too many times by attempting to dribble or hold up the ball when much better options are available. It's annoying.

Very good for 70 minutes. We pulled back too soon though, lost composure and they were piling on the pressure. Knew we shouldnt have changed anything, was finely poised but thanks to the biggest cnut at the club- fellaini- we throw it away. Cant believe the guy is still at United let alone gets games. God it just makes me hate Moyes so much more that he brought Fellaini to the club. Biggest mistake we've ever made. And for almost 30 fecking million too. Just feck off.
Anyway, rant about fellaini is over. Just hope he never plays again.

Onto the positives.... Mkhitaryan class, herrera class, ibra class, martial with a good second half, valencia very good, and in general we shouldve been out of sight but didnt finish them on and it gave them encouragement. I know we wont get top 4 so who gives a feck at this point. Priority this season is getting us consistent to go into next season and winning the cups. To start, stop playing any player who shouldnt be here next year. I.e, get rid of fellaini, schneiderlin, probably rojo/darmian, memphis, and just never play them. Ever.
The cnut who insisted on playing Fellaini is a bigger mistake.

This group has a weak mentality. The evidence of this piles up week after week.

Negativity breeds negativity. feck off Mourinho with these dinosaur tactics. There's a reason the top four are miles ahead of us. Sick of this shit.

Thats nonsense. We weren't fine and Everton were looking likely to score.

Cant just focus on one player because we dont rate him

We didnt pay 90 feckin million for him to just to half of his job in a decent way.

feck right off. Not every match allows him to score a 30 yard goal and thread through balls. This was a tough physical away game in which we largely came out on top.

The subsitute (Fellaini) is the one who cost us the 3 points. We were fine otherwise.

Pogba put in a great shift and so did the rest of this makeshift team.

Don't want to go over old ground, rashford shows his man inside and they don't score, simple, they didn't create anything else.
Jose needs to share blame with that useless tit today tho
I agree Rashford made a mistake but, like today, it was José's tactics of parking the bus which brought Arsenal right back into the game rather than the mistake by Marcus.

Remember when Rooney was the big problem? Let's just put that to rest.

Had to stop myself posting a couple of times there. Haven't been this angry after a game since West Ham away last year.

I'm getting so sick of complaining about us taking the foot off after going a goal ahead. They can't possibly be that stupid so I guess they just don't give a shit.

Jose needs to be dragged into an office by his ear tomorrow morning and told if that's how he thinks Manchester United makes substitutions at a goal up, he can feck off.

Pathetic. Everton were useless today until we stopped playing football for so long, that they had no choice but to eventually try and score.

How was it a makeshift team? Pogba was average at best today.

This a 100%.

It was Fellainis fault.

Jose Mourinho has the honor of being the first United manager whose decisions caused me to break my television screen. Luckily my computer mouse survived the impact.

This guy is a joke. A 'serial winner' who takes off our creative wingers and sticks Fellaini in. As if it's worked in the past.

We looked like breaking through for a second, then after Herrera hit the frame, we fell back into a defensive shell. Against Everton at home. The definition of cowardice. And Jose has his ass glued to the seat, he looks like LVG incarnate.

So many players were ineffective today. Ibra useless when there's someone besides the goalkeeper in front of him. Pogba all-around terrible. Carrick looking every bit his age.

The league is done and dusted at this point. We truly suck in these games. And this supposedly great manager ain't helping.

Is anyone really surprised with the result after the second half performance. We were absolutely terrible and had zero composure. Mourinho got the subs wrong and also the timing of the subs wrong. We didn't string together three passes after 60 mins.

Specialist in draw, so we are. Pathetic and if he doesn't take responsibility for this, then surely he is not the man to take this club forward. I have defended him all along and this game is the watershed moment for me.

As emotions are running high i guess Fellaini and Mou will get most of the blame, but we had them on the ropes the first 15 mins on the second half and should have kept on that pressure. From 60 mins onwards we just stopped playing football altogether.

Mou might have told the players to defend the lead, but i really doubt he told them to fold as pathetically as they did. It's not the managers fault the players can't string more than two passes together

Zlatan should just go full Zlatan and start speaking his mind in the media about some dogshites he needs to play every week with.

Literally anything that will push the board & manager to start making changes.

Do people really think Mourinho orders them to sit back? Interested

He should have made subs to rectify it but dont think that was down to him
It happens every fecking time so yeah, that's his responsibility. And his subs only make it worse. If he isn't responsible for all of that, then what the feck is he doing at the club as manager?

Against Arsenal, just seconds coming in, Fellaini conceded a dangerous FK I think. How Mourinho didn't learn from it is amazing.
I don't think he's moved on. He's a dinosaur tactically these days and no team is worried anymore

Looking likely to score? Well of course they would be more attacking since they are down 1-0 at home.

But by and large I still believe we would have held out. The cardinal sin is to give away a penalty and we did just that because we put on an absolute donkey of a player who is supposed to give us "height".

I'd rather take our chances with Mkhi and Martial on the pitch seeing out the last 10 minutes.

Or at the very least throw on Schneiderlin or Schwiensteiger.

However, to underappreciate this performance is absolute horseshit. This makeshift backline (and team) worked their bollocks off. We should have come away with 3 points.

We were comfortable. They were throwing players forward, but we were dealing with it. Until fecking Fellaini comes on.

Just get rid of him. Fed up with seeing him now.

Well said.

The league is a complete write off this year, 6th is the best we can hope for at this rate.

Fellaini is an absolute turd, should not be playing for this club and have said that for ages.

I do blame Fellaini for this one but you are right about us just booting it back to them
Should have bought on a midfield player with legs or mobile (morgan schniederlin) or who could hold the ball (bastian).

Weird match. Rojo and Barry should have walked first half. Cleverley somehow got away with only a free kick for a crude hack too.

We look good when playing at 100%, but at 60% we're really beatable. We cannot take our foot off the gas like that and our manager is most culpable for that today. We increasingly made changes that only served to invite them on. Disappointed with the manager more than anything else today. Not sure what he thought the upside of his final substitution was. It wasn't as if we were suffering an aerial bombardment.

Happily admit that I stuck up for Fellaini at the beginning of the season and thought he had found his niche, but he is certainly not a late substitute type of player. He lacks composure, so it was little surprise when he gave the referee a decision to make. He's also redundant going forward with Zlatan in the team and his threat at set pieces is no where near what it once was.

Do people still want us to throw the cups to complete with West Brom and Everton for sixth?

Terrible. Let's face it we were lucky to be ahead and still have 11 men on the pitch before the inevitable equaliser.

We've been bottling it away from home for years now, nothing new.

To be honest, his reaction to it doesn't really bode well for Fellaini.....if only I could lip read swearing in Portuguese but I'm suspecting its something like....'f**K the wh**re of the mother who delivered you'......

Totally agree fellaini is a failure of a sub, SAF would shut up shop but by bringing on a safe passer like butt or fletcher or park someone to keep it simple and win the ball.
Not purely for height to head a ball, it was almost like admitting we aren't going to stop them in midfield we're going to defend from our own goal line
