If you stop watching you don’t have to worry about that.
The thing about hindsight has a superpower is that everyone has it.
If you stop watching you don’t have to worry about that.
Weghorst showed nothing as usual.Decision making of our front players is woeful, Weghorst and Garnacho show more in a few minutes than Anthony Martial and Sancho.
Thing is we created 20 chances away from home, our achilles heel is only 5 were on target. They have to sort that out, if we get that striker we need it might relax the other players and they will score more goals from their positions.Truth is we played well. It being 1-0 made the game far more tense than it should have been. As a result, people bypass are good passages of play because we aren't coasting like we should be.
However, you are right about one thing. Our attack has poor this season outside of Rashford ( Bruno is in the midfield). You can't win the league with an attack like ours. Look how one footed Antony and Martial are. Look how passive Sancho is. For years people have talked about effort and drive, but the truth is, our attack hasn't been good enough. You can't have the ball in the final third as much as we have had and have as little impact as we do. Literally all our succesful attacks this season have either come from a magic Rashford moment or good decision making from one of Bruno, Eriksen or Casemiro. For any attacker to score outside of Rashford (or Garnacho who has rarely played), it needs to be on a plate. Yet watch Arsenal and see how intensely Martinelli and Saka work to contribute to their attacks. Watch Liverpool and all their attackers do that. City is the only team in world football that doesn't need to, due to their unique system, but even with that Grealish and Mahrez still provide consistent attacking impetus. Yet here were are, a team that will never be the pass masters that City or Barcelona are, having attackers waiting for opportunites to be handed to them on a plate and wondering why we aren't winning as many games away from home as our dominance in games suggest.
For me, if we could, I would sell all three attackers that played today and let Weighorst leave. They just aren't good enough
McT at least forced a save, Bruno’s closest effort was 5 yards over. Saw a lot of lazy passes, the number of cheap turnovers was insane.Never ever seen Bruno that bad - he was horrendous. No energy and not sure what ETH was watching but, should have been pulled. Him having a go at Scott when a few minutes before had a horrible shot and lost the ball needlessly in middle of the park and so many other moments.
Fred/Scott subs should have come a lot sooner but, really it's more to do with our lack of being able to kill games off that necessitated that. Getting barely a goal a game next season will be nowhere good enough. Hopefully get that striker we desperately need.
Snap shot on target and forced a save, played a beautiful reverse ball through for Antony who should have scored.Weghorst showed nothing as usual.
Really, what about volley that the keeper made a decent save fromMcT at least forced a save, Bruno’s closest effort was 5 yards over. Saw a lot of lazy passes, the number of cheap turnovers was insane.
Definitely. Puke.On a lighthearted note, is anyone else happy that today was the last time we have to look at those god-awful toxic green kits? Truly one of the worst kits we've ever had.

1 more point to go in two home matches.

I thought it was Bruno but wouldn't swear to it, he definitely had an off day thoughThought that was Cas

Well yeah but it's one point from two home games. Kinda hard to convince myself even for the drama
DdG was class today.
The worst* Awful kit.On a lighthearted note, is anyone else happy that today was the last time we have to look at those god-awful toxic green kits? Truly one of the worst kits we've ever had.
We won an away game. If Bournemouth had needed something out of that game they would have gotten it.
At pitch level it probably wasn't an issue, when they showed the low level camera footage it was fine, but the high up cameras it wasn't so goodETH should have made the lads change into all white at halftime
Wrong. Bruno had a worldie volley saved from just inside the box by their goalie.McT at least forced a save, Bruno’s closest effort was 5 yards over. Saw a lot of lazy passes, the number of cheap turnovers was insane.
Good to see the moderation team apply as much moderation in their opinion and judgment as the posters they slate.Classic redcafe nonsense. The worst case scenario plucked from your arse based on nothing. Well done sir.
Three posts into a thread where we have basically achieved what everyone said would be a good season.
Yet not good enough.
Tedious tourists.
Go back to whatever sport ye all understand.
It was. But it's nice to keep the drama goingIncase it wasn't obvious I was being sarcastic

To this point, I would rather play elanga instead of Sancho, just jogging around without any impact at both end.
Just get this crap out of the team, pathetic performance
