Back 6 won us the game. Barring Garnacho, Rashford and Amad, I'd put the rest of our attackers up for sale and look to rebuild from scratch. There is a reason we have scored the second lowest amount of goals in the top 10.

Was not a great watch. Casemiro, Defenders and De Gea were decent to ge the job done. Garnacho is such a delight to watch.

Good result but it's hard to get excited about this team. Just feels like we stumble along to being relatively mediocre as far as top teams go.

You can see why we’ve struggled to score goals all season. Our front players (bar Rash and Garnacho) are beyond pathetic.
Not sure what that was from Bruno today but seeing that from Antony and Sancho is par for the course.

Our Defence has definitely got us through this season. Even the likes of Lindelof and Wan Bissaka have stepped up. Varane and Shaw imperious as ever.

This week long break that people kept saying would make a difference doesn’t seem to be doing so either. We’re still a complete mess going forward.

We are the most frustrating "1-0" teams to watch. The amount of times we broke with 4 vs 4, only for our attack to fall apart outside the opposition 18 yard box was unreal.

Not clinical enough but a pretty straight forward win

A pity Villa didn't win but we'll take the draw. Just 1 point from required from the remain two games to secure top 4 now.

We need 1 point out of 2 remaining home games to qualify for CL.

Didn’t watch the game but looked a bit tight, the goalie made some good saves and we’ve held on for the win.

Liverpool hanging on by the skin of their teeth, only 1 point needed now which we’d should do. However, it isn’t done yet, the team still have to show professionalism and concentration to see this out. I would rather get the job done against Chelsea so we can have a nice final game with no pressure.

think we can feel ok about top 4 now

Adds nothing to the discussion
To this point, I would rather play elanga instead of Sancho, just jogging around without any impact at both end.

Just get this crap out of the team, pathetic performance

3 needed points. Just got to get one more win

We only need one point from our last two home games - Liverpool have only got one game to play and they’re 3 points behind us now.

Not much to write home about. Clean sheet, ok, Casemiro still strong, that's good, but apart from that? Ten Hag has some work to do, and the muppetry this summer will be huge. At least Villa...oh gadamn. Hold the door you Emery people!
Need to find some more energy to do the job against hopefully tired Chelsea, after that it's going to be cheerio several times, fingers crossed.

We controlled the game and got the goal we needed. But we really should be blowing teams like this away.

Casemiro and AWB were the better players today.

Sancho, Martial needs to be shipped out ASAP.

WW isn't a player at United's level.

Nah, better to assume the worst and have a continual meltdown over everything and let this made up scenario affect your day to day life, relationships and wellbeing.

Otherwise whats the point?

That game sums up our season, better team bu far but unable to put them away. Thank goodness that last chance for Moore was saved.

We Won in third gear. Felt like a training match at times.
Lindelof was superb, Degea was superb. Casamiro doing a RVP impression to score And played well.
Anthony, Martial and Sancho not doing enough. Bruno a bit off today too.
we instantly look more threatening with Garnacho on the pitch.
1 point from 6 I believe and its job done.

Our season is almost over and thank feck for that. Our football has mostly fallen apart by the end, and every game is a bloody battle against anyone.

Casemiro MotM today. Special mention to Bruno Fernandes who has been shockingly awful.

7s from the defence and 1s from the attack. Same old.

Bruno and Antony are embarrassing to watch, before we even get onto Martial and Sancho. Thinking of them 4 playing like that in the CL
We need a complete revamp of the attack and we need to be ruthless. We are atleast 2 or 3 transfer windows from competing against City.

At a minimum, we a number 9, a partner for Casemiro, a left footed attacker who can play on the right and a right back. The concept of a classic line hogging winger is outdated and we need to move away from that.

The likes of Wout, Sancho, Dalot, mc Fred need to go. We really need to tear up their contracts somehow.

It’s a good thing we can keep clean sheets, because we can’t score goals at all. No dynamism or intensity to our forward play.

Never ever seen Bruno that bad - he was horrendous. No energy and not sure what ETH was watching but, should have been pulled. Him having a go at Scott when a few minutes before had a horrible shot and lost the ball needlessly in middle of the park and so many other moments.

Fred/Scott subs should have come a lot sooner but, really it's more to do with our lack of being able to kill games off that necessitated that. Getting barely a goal a game next season will be nowhere good enough. Hopefully get that striker we desperately need.

Bruno shockingly poor today, possibly down fatigue? But guess this is what happens when you play 57 games on the spin, as well as assuming the captaincy.

People like to shit on DDG. He won us this game and almost Top 4.

Other than Casemeiro goal we were shit.

Antony really need his right foot.

McT should have pass to Bruno for the chance.

Where is our goal gonna come from?

Hopefully after the Chelsea game we are on the phone to Harry Kane.

Well yeah but it's one point from two home games. Kinda hard to convince myself even for the drama

DdG was class today.

Nervy, as every match we play inevitably is these days, but it's a massive win.

We've all know that Sancho isn't good enough for a while, but it's becoming clear that Antony isn't good enough as well. His lack of a right foot takes away so many opportunities.

Hey, has anyone considered that we might need a striker this summer?

Truth is we played well. It being 1-0 made the game far more tense than it should have been. As a result, people bypass are good passages of play because we aren't coasting like we should be.

However, you are right about one thing. Our attack has poor this season outside of Rashford ( Bruno is in the midfield). You can't win the league with an attack like ours. Look how one footed Antony and Martial are. Look how passive Sancho is. For years people have talked about effort and drive, but the truth is, our attack hasn't been good enough. You can't have the ball in the final third as much as we have had and have as little impact as we do. Literally all our succesful attacks this season have either come from a magic Rashford moment or good decision making from one of Bruno, Eriksen or Casemiro. For any attacker to score outside of Rashford (or Garnacho who has rarely played), it needs to be on a plate. Yet watch Arsenal and see how intensely Martinelli and Saka work to contribute to their attacks. Watch Liverpool and all their attackers do that. City is the only team in world football that doesn't need to, due to their unique system, but even with that Grealish and Mahrez still provide consistent attacking impetus. Yet here were are, a team that will never be the pass masters that City or Barcelona are, having attackers waiting for opportunites to be handed to them on a plate and wondering why we aren't winning as many games away from home as our dominance in games suggest.

For me, if we could, I would sell all three attackers that played today and let Weighorst leave. They just aren't good enough

That's a great result, and fair fecks to Villa doing us a solid v Liverpool. Granted it wasnt pretty, but I'll take a shit 1-0 away win all day long.
You know at the end of the Blues Brothers epic car chase and the Bluesmobile literally collapses in a heap? That's us that is.

Decision making of our front players is woeful, Weghorst and Garnacho show more in a few minutes than Anthony Martial and Sancho.
