Gaming Pokémon Strumfest

Ffs this bump has reminded me I could download the originals on the 3ds now.
 
Are they still milking those same storylines over and over again? I haven't played for 6-7 years because every new version was predictable and boring. Mystery Dungeon was a breath of fresh air but I wouldn't be surprised if even that has got several remakes by now.
 
The games hold a lot of nostalgia for me, and whilst it'll never happen, i'd love to see an open world type game developed like Skyrim:

That's the dream, I'd be so wet for this.
 
We all of us know that Nintendo will broadcast tomorrow a new Pokémon Direct to celebrate 20 years of the franchise and to announce a new chapter probably. But none of us knows what the Japanese publisher will show in details. Looking at the trademarks registered in the European Market, we have found two new registrations requested by Nintendo itself just today...

The requested trademarks are named “PoKéMoN SUN” and “PoKéMoN MOON” and both they report a logo. So, it is undeniable that Nintendo has intention to announce two new Pokémon versions. We don’t know for what platform, but it is very likely that the two title will be available for Nintendo 3DS. So prepare yourself for tomorrow!

A Pokemon in with some kind of outerspace storyline?

Or something involving a contrast between night and day?

More interestingly, will it reveal something about Nintendo's future in regards to the platform its on.

For some reason I never had one, and I'm not sure what they actually did. I'm assuming it had information on the original set of Pokemon?

I saw something like this once. I don't remember what it did. Don't think I owned it
 
I can't remember if I had one or just played with someone elses. It was shit though, don't worry guys.

It was just like a pokedex from the gameboy game. Same graphics, you can just read about all the originals. Same info as the games too more or less. I don't remember any other bells and whistles that it had.

The buttons got all fecked up, the sticker on the inside cover (with Ash and Pikachu on there) got all scratched up so you couldn't see shit) and i think he'd managed to find a way to just plain stop it from working. Maybe that was a case of battery running out though but i'ma still blame it on his ass.

Why can I not play pokemon on an iPhone yet? It's outrageous.
