Nope. Loads of places picked up on it and reported on it but it was never a thing! Apparently it's just going to be some reprints from the last few sets.
Does a bear shit in the woods!? Got a lot of PSA cards now, also started a new project to make my own Pokedex of cards, based on my favourite artworks, and in Japanese (1-251). I haven't bought any yet and I've chosen the first 40 cards, but I do already have some which will be part of it:
A lot of the ones I have there are from neo sets, but overall there will be a more varied selection, it's just I already have a lot of neo cards.

At the moment that's only been announced for the US, but even if the bundle doesn't come over here I'm sure the faceplates will by themselves. The 2DS bundles have been announced for Europe though
I hope they make the faceplates available separately.
