Yeah, they've broke into like the top 20 on the UK all-format chart (and above X/Y) due to that steal price haha

Also, if you can manage to get a few copies, they trade in for £15 store credit at CeX, so it's a way to shave off nearly half the price of your standard 3DS game.

Mega Audino, what the feck, it gets a Def and Sp.Def raise! This thing will take hits for days.

Giving away shiny Beldum though at release, shiny Mega Metagross

Mega Alteria, Dragon + Fairy with a Attack, Sp. Attack and Def raise, what?!

I googled that Audino.

Some sick things popped up, sick, sick things.

I'm disappointed so many of the mgeas are, and have been quality pokemon that were good anyway. Should have hand more focus on making the awesome but wank pokemon actually useful.

 Yeah totally, would love to see some neglected ones get a boost.

That Metagross gets boosts in every stat, what the feck?

Pokken for Wii U. Come onnnn.

It'll be something really shit likely.

A stadium with easy uploading of pokemon from the gameboy would be cool, then battle people around the world in awesome animated battles.

In the end it probably doesn't matter, I'll end up buying whatever it is.

Anyone fancy playing some online games? I'm looking into real battling a bit more (not that I really understand it much), and could be cool to have some caf fights.

Also resisting buying pokemon cards, I'm like a fecking pokemon magpie.

I probably would. You thinking Pokecrater or something?

Yeah whatever is best really, probably won't be on it till Bestival is done and I've moved house though.

Played through soulsilver again, only to see that the wifi servers for it have been disabled by Nintendo, no trades at all - proper gutted! So I decided I would buy a 3DS for the Sapphire remake, then at that point I got impatient and bought one along with Pokemon X. I'm wondering if I will get used to these fancy new graphics... you don't just try and change a classic...

I wasn't sure at first, but when I try play one of the older games I find it a bit weird now to be honest. I think overall it's an improvement.

That being said I think the Heart Gold Soul Silver still are the best games of the lot, wish I hadn't lost mine.

The battle scenes were the part I was most... not concerned but... something that makes me sound less nerdy.. with, but I actually really like it and how the pokemon look, but the actual environment I'm finding very weird right now, though admittedly I only just got it today. It seems very zoomed in and just... different. :(

I was very happy playing Soulsilver for the last week or two, but the discovery of the servers being disabled, coupled with that post-pokemon league depression made me put it down. I want to want to go through Kanto again, but it just seems like a drag for some reason.

The sprites and battles are way better. My biggest gripe with the over world is it feels really small in this game, but I don't know if it's the close up view or if it's just genuinely smaller. The previous worlds felt much more adventurous.

I remember Kanto being a bit of a slog in the gold and silver games, there's a lack of story it seems compared to the first half of the game.

Kanto felt really forced in G/S, it's better in Heart/Soul, though.

Go on, you know you want to.

I went through a phase of buying them 3-4 years ago, and from then I've now got two shoe boxes full of theme decks, and another box full of booster packs.

I know what will happen is that I'll end up in town tomorrow buying some. I can't help myself, I just love fecking collecting things. Some of those new ex and mega cards look so cool as well, with the full card print.

I was looking at original (151) booster packs the other day. Had to stop myself because I could easily spend a ton of money on them and it'd be a slippery slope. I'd have to open them too, then I'd feel bad.

Yeah I don't think I'd buy any of the original packs, if they've lasted this long then I'd feel like a dick opening them

Yep, and you know how it goes, you buy a few, and you don't get one, then you get one and its not one you want, and suddenly you can't afford to pay your rent but it's cool because you can build a house out of your pile of pokemon cards.
