If I manage to get my hands in one I'll clone and give them awayIncredible!
To be completely fair, it's better at the game than @One Night Only
Anyone fancy playing some online games? I'm looking into real battling a bit more (not that I really understand it much), and could be cool to have some caf fights.
Also resisting buying pokemon cards, I'm like a fecking pokemon magpie.
Played through soulsilver again, only to see that the wifi servers for it have been disabled by Nintendo, no trades at all - proper gutted! So I decided I would buy a 3DS for the Sapphire remake, then at that point I got impatient and bought one along with Pokemon X. I'm wondering if I will get used to these fancy new graphics... you don't just try and change a classic...
I wasn't sure at first, but when I try play one of the older games I find it a bit weird now to be honest. I think overall it's an improvement.
That being said I think the Heart Gold Soul Silver still are the best games of the lot, wish I hadn't lost mine.
The battle scenes were the part I was most... not concerned but... something that makes me sound less nerdy.. with, but I actually really like it and how the pokemon look, but the actual environment I'm finding very weird right now, though admittedly I only just got it today. It seems very zoomed in and just... different.
I was very happy playing Soulsilver for the last week or two, but the discovery of the servers being disabled, coupled with that post-pokemon league depression made me put it down. I want to want to go through Kanto again, but it just seems like a drag for some reason.

Kanto felt really forced in G/S, it's better in Heart/Soul, though. The sprites and battles are way better. My biggest gripe with the over world is it feels really small in this game, but I don't know if it's the close up view or if it's just genuinely smaller. The previous worlds felt much more adventurous.
I remember Kanto being a bit of a slog in the gold and silver games, there's a lack of story it seems compared to the first half of the game.
Go on, you know you want to.
I went through a phase of buying them 3-4 years ago, and from then I've now got two shoe boxes full of theme decks, and another box full of booster packs.

I just looked up the newest ones, some of them look awesomeI know what will happen is that I'll end up in town tomorrow buying some. I can't help myself, I just love fecking collecting things. Some of those new ex and mega cards look so cool as well, with the full card print.
Yeah I don't think I'd buy any of the original packs, if they've lasted this long then I'd feel like a dick opening themI was looking at original (151) booster packs the other day. Had to stop myself because I could easily spend a ton of money on them and it'd be a slippery slope. I'd have to open them too, then I'd feel bad.
