I just got a shiny, level 100 Greninja from a wonder trade. My first ever shiny and it feels a bit cheap.

I still have my first shiny(not including the G/S Gyarados, naturally), all the way from Fire Red. A Grimer, well, a Muk now.
I think my first shiny was a Shellos in Platinum. I've caught a couple over the years that I did nothing with because they all sucked. Had a shiny Wurmple, for example.

I hated Sceptile, but that mega looks bad ass, well, bad ass for a pokemon.
I'm confused, doesn't this adding new pokemons mean it's technically a new generation? Even if it's just megas.

I think the 'new' pokemon are already coded into X & Y, there just isn't a way to get them at the moment.
This might be a stupid question, but can they not create a game where you go through all the regions (or at least the first 4)?
They probably could but I don't think they will because it means there's no (or at least fewer) reason for anyone to play the older games.

Yeah, I think so. Well, until it's remade and then they play that instead. HeartGold and SoulSilver go for shit loads now because they're in such high demand.
