Yeah, but I had a Darmanitan by that point that had a couple of really good fighting moves so it didn't matter. He basically breezed through everyone tbf.
Ah okay. What's the first pokemon you caught and kept? I only have Oshawott as of Pinwheel Forest.
I think my final team was Samurott, Zebstrika, Darmanitan, Archeops, Sawsbuck and Beartic, so the Blitzle I caught near the daycare. I carried a Stoutland for a good while which came from a Lillipup I caught on I think the first route. I also carried an Excadrill for quite a while, as well as an Unfezant and Vanilluxe. I swapped out Stoutland for Deerling, I think, Unfezant for Archen, Excadrill for Darumaka, and Vanilluxe for Cubchoo. I intended to swap out Zebstrika for a Joltik I'd caught but I got bored after grinding up Cubchoo and Deerling so just went for the Elite 4. Had I not been so lazy I'd have only had my starter.

Just replaced Lillipup with Bagon before the 2nd gym in Blaze Black. Never really tried a proper Dragon type in the game before
