Gaming Pokémon Strumfest

They made it to democracy mode, but not long enough to cross the abyss. They spammed the wrong code and in the end anarchy won after two minutes, so now another hour till democracy again.

 Right, they've made it to democracy but the codes they're posting don't seem to make much sense. They'd be better off (though it'd take longer) doing one command at a time.

They seem pretty intent on getting this gym done to be fair, watch some feckers go spoil it right at the death

This is so funny. They tried to go left instead of up. They finally made it.

They've spent the last few hours grinding and now I think they're headed towards the gym. Problem is they're currently in a Pokemon center when democracy came in, so now they're having to use democracy to go step by step to the counter and heal the pokemon, before going step by step to the gym and making it to the end. That'll probably take over an hour to do - without it going back into anarchy. Slightest slip up and anarchy will be voted back in.

Mental. They've finally made it to the gym, they're at Morty, and saying that they should do the battle in democracy mode as they do rubbish in anarchy. All of a sudden, the chat goes mental - like, 1000 miles an hour - the stream crashes for a few minutes and by the time the page eventually reloads, it's back in anarchy mode and very slow. A lot of the people that were watching the stream (myself included) ended up missing out on most of the battle as the stream was going slow as hell, but they've finally done it - they've beaten Morty. Jesus that was bad.

Battles should be run in Anarchy, because Democracy is far too slow, really. Plus everyone overshoots thanks to the chat lag, so it's about twice as long as it should.

Play the blaze black/volt white ROMS of Black/White 1+2. Much more fun, all 649 pokemon and much harder than the original games.
What's this then? Some user modified editions or something like that?

Oh, and why is Feraligatr in the box now? To grind with the other guys?

No, because they are retards and did it accidentally
Some think it's deliberate - you can solo the game with Feraligatr, even accidentally, which means it isn't fun.

It would have been way more interesting if they'd picked Chikorita. They'd need to find and train a better Pokémon, and they'd need to find a Water HM slave.

Yep, democracy is too slow for battles, but for that gym they had used anarchy for battles twice previously unsuccessfully so a few were thinking democracy should be used for that one battle - especially with Lazorgator being their only hope and most of the other Pokemon having moves that had no effect on Morty's ghosts.

Only twice? These new viewers are spoilt. They should have gone back and realised it took nearly 20 attempts to beat the Elite Four back in the last game.

Pretty much. You get a Black or White Rom and then you can patch it so you get all 649. You have full or clean versions as well.

Clean: Allows you to catch all 649 Pokemon, adjusts some trainers so they have older Pokemon and changes some items so they act like stones, so you don't have to trade Pokemon to evolve them.
Full: All 649 Pokemon, Some Pokemon stats and types have changes, Trainers have more Pokemon, Levels are adjusted, Gym Battles are adjusted... Makes the game difficult, not pulling your hair out difficult, but not walk in the park easy like the original games.

They did the same for Black + White 2.
