It really is a cubone explosion- it's odd though the way you get bursts. For example, the local girls school grounds was a Rhyhorn spawn, then it suddenly switched to Poyntas- I hatched a couple and from having never seen one, I was ready to evolve with a 96.1% IV one in about three days.
Ditto Snorlax's- no hide nor hair, then hatched one from a 10km then within a day I caught one round the corner from my flat, then another bang outside Vauxhall tube station. The park I need to cross in Vauxhall to get to the office switched from being Sandshrew to Ekans recently too.
I guess it's good in that you get new things. Seriously more Zubats and Drowzees though!
 
The last 4 times I've used a lucky egg to mass evolve I've had at least 400 drowzee candy.
 
Regretting spending a couple of hours in a park on Saturday getting enough Cubone candy to evolve one! Oh well. I'm on 141 now, still after that elusive Aerodactyl. I have 2x 10k eggs so hopefully one of them will finish me off nicely. Most likely Eevee/Jynx though...

I don't know, that sounds pretty good to me if you got the double candy Halloween bonus. That could have taken you the majority of the way to evolving a Dragonite.

Tbf, I've had very little joy with Dratini round where I am. IV is only 88.9% on one site, but 96%-odd on another (Pokeassist v pokemon.gameinfo) - CP not amazing at 543. Gets me a new one on the Pokedex I guess. Only 66 candy though, so long way to go to Dragonite.
 
Are Meowth in this Halloween bundle too- Fecking loads around at the mo'!
 
Yeah, Meowth is everywhere last few days.

I've been playing Pokemon Go for a few months, since July, and I'm starting to lose my interest. I've been catching Pokemon in bigger cities and known places in Belgium, and I'm yet to see a snorlax, lapras, dragonite... My eggs have been horendous for a while. This candy + buddy boost is a welcome change.
 
They've really messed up the normal spawnings with this Halloween update, which is annoying. Like it's okey that they wanted to increase the spawn rate of these normal pokemons, but to make it more or less the ONLY ones that spawns in both lure and in random, is just taking the piss. Already sick of catching these "Halloween" pokemons, was much better before this update when you actually could get some various type of pokemons. Got fecking 1.2k ish gastly candy in 2 days, 1k + drowsee candy and 550+ cubone candy. Jesus...No wonder why people quit this game when Niantic are doing stupid updates like this. Only thing that is good with it is that they reduced the kms we have to walk with our buddy...Don't like the gym system at all either.
 
Can anyone recommend a good live Pokemon Go scanner/tracker?

I was in Green Park the other day and noticed a few people clearly using one of these to chase down Charmanders.

Oh, has Green Park switched? Used to be full of Eevees.
 
They really have done an absolutely terrible job of this game. Huge potential, huge income to finance so many great ideas and all they do is remove features from an already bare bones game.

I got to level 25 and got pissed off of catching Pidgeys and Ratatas, so I hacked the game. Can travel where I want, normally in San Fran as when I see something on my site list it lets me see which pokestop its closest to.

As long as you're not ruining the gym experience for the legit players. At one point the spoofers round my area made the gyms unplayable. Fortunately they all seem to have been banned.

Not bothered about gyms tbh, just want to complete my pokedex.

Yes, those 2600-3000+ CP bastards who hog gyms would piss me off.

Actually might be a good idea to destroy some of those ones in my area.

For my own curiosity, can you let me know if you ever get banned? Curious to know how effective Niantic are at catching spoofers .

Been hacking for about 2/3 weeks now, haven't been banned. Though I don't abuse it, I stick to one area and I play every now and then now.

It's the teleporters from one country to another who get banned.

And what's the fun with getting your pokedex completed in a way like that? Like if he and others gets satisfied by doing that, I don't what to say really. Very funny for us non-cheaters who uses severals month or more to complete our pokedex in the real way, init.
 
Haven't played this in ages, but just opened it and caught a Cubone from my bedroom. Never seen him appear in the game before so it was nice to have a new one show up.

It's the Halloween event at the minute mate. Cubones are the new Pidgeys and Gastlys the new Weedles.

I haven't been as active but still play when I'm in a new area. They should allow trading and you should be able to battle other users rather then going to a gym.

I've been playing as much as ever since the Halloween and this latest pokemon + pokestop frenzy event. Not a fan of the latest changes to defensive prestige (I think doubling prestige for taking down opposing gyms was a good idea, but halving prestige for training friendly gyms at the same time is OTT) but otherwise I'm loving Niantic's recent changes and events.

How are you getting on?

Im on level 23. Got a lucky egg, incense and 2 lure modules. Gonna use the former and do a mass evolve soon. I went to Madrid and caught some really good ones but also missed some due to dodgy wifi. Pokedex is seen 115 and caught 88.
Problem (well kinda) is that I drive everywhere so the only chances I get to go on walks is during breaks I now take during work (two or three pokestops around so just go for a nice 5-10 minute walk).

I sometimes go Southbank for work (but I seem to have gone less since the game came out).

I need to find a pokemap type thing to stop me walking aimlessly around my house when pokemon i havent caught popup.
One thing this game has helped with is me walking more and taking more breaks during work and getting away from my PC (which seems to have eased headaches).

I just saw a guy on the local Facebook group posted a pic of a scanner today. Someone asked what he's using and he said it's called PokéTracker but it seems it's for iOS.

But I don't fancy taking a risk on any of them until there's more responses saying they're safe. Really the only thing I want a scanner for is to find Dratinis as I'm level 28 and still don't have a Dragonite.

I want to find some of the ones I dont have but that appear to be within where I am at a time. With the weather turning, my use of the game will probably drop which is a shame.

Wish we did have a trade in option (rather than just the transfer stuff).
 
I still play a little, mostly on my commute to work. Need 5 Pokemon for the dex Venusaur, Snorlax, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee and Aerodactyl. I'm walking my Ivysaur for the first one and when I finally get enough candies I'll probably stop playing as the other 4 feel out of my control.
