Those blaming the fans are pathetic.
Yup. That’s like blaming the symptom instead of the disease.
Those blaming the fans are pathetic.
I'm not so sure he'd sulk, there is an international tournament at stake and he knows Deschamps wouldn't hesitate to bench him if for instance he lost his place and his performances at United. Ideally the club would get an obscene amount of money for him but I suppose it depends on our priorities. Can't us keeping a player who wants to leave especially if he asked the club for it. Of course we can milk as much as we can from the deal money wise, but keeping him unhappy won't help anyone, not even the club. He will sulk hard next season for not getting what he wanted and his value may drop next season. If he asks to leave, the wise solution will be to sell him for something like 140m, or player swapping.
No I don't think he'd say anything of the sort. His agent knows we pay hamsomly to agents as well as players. All Raiola is after is his paydayThe play what I wrote...
It is abridged, but I expect Raiola advised De Ligt that we would be a poor destination to choose.
Do you think he would say nothing of the sort?
Well you're a lot more naive than I thought then.No I don't think he'd say anything of the sort. His agent knows we pay hamsomly to agents as well as players. All Raiola is after is his payday
Nice meltdown. No more deserving fans than Utd Fans. Just look at the pathetic abuse the only decent player in this team gets from "fans". Have to be one of the few/only club in the world that actually lambast the only World Class player they have, so much so that he ends up wanting to leave. All of the people on here spewing utter tripe should have a good hard look at yourselves because this is exactly what you wanted. Let Rashford, Lingard, Martial, Mctominay, Young, Jones, Smalling etc off the hook and blame Pogba for their failings. Don't give me any of the standard retorts "We didn't blame him for everything", We've heard it all.
If I was a World Cup winner, world class player who's top scored for my team and with the most assists from midfield. On top of that I'm expected to defend like Kante and anything less is not good enough. Then I look around me and complete and utter dross like Matic, Mctominay, Rashford and Lingard + the entire defence gets feck all abuse compared to me even though I've done most of the work. I'd be off in an instant. I can earn just as much elsewhere at a club that has a chance of winning things + have fans that can atleast appreciate it.
Don't give me that "he is paid 250k a week, he should be able to handle it". feck off with that shit. A human who earns 250k a week and a human that earns 250 pounds a week still have mental issues and go through the same doubts no matter what the pay packet is. The guy clearly has had enough of being blamed for a incompetent team run by an incompetent ceo which is looking fairly certain as an incompetent club.
On one hand there goes any chance of being any decent of a team for another 2-3 years. If you really believe Woodward will actually fulfil his job you're kidding yourself. Will be amusing to see who these posters blame next year when they don't have Pogba to blame. My guess is they will go quiet because that will be easier than swallowing their pride.
Oh get the feck off. There's a sizeable portion of our fans that are complete idiots, but the idea that he would get any more support at any other club, after 3 years of utter bollocks, a fairly large amount of under-performance and some incredibly pointless #pogfeelings based drama is nonsense. Non of the other players you pointed out received any less abuse than he did, people shit shitloads on Mctominay, Matić, Rashford and Lingard all the time, nevermind on the likes of Young. Anyone who thinks he was hard done by the fans is genuinely weird. No more deserving fans than Utd Fans. Just look at the pathetic abuse the only decent player in this team gets from "fans". Liverpool managed to keep Coutinho for a few months, he didn't sulk, he got on with it because of the World Cup. My point is that, we cannot predict with any certainty how Pogba would play.

Yup. We've known he wants out for some time. Just move him on and get the right replacements. Im loathe to seeing the go on until the end of the windowHim potentially going on strike won't be much different from his form from March.

This video has settled it for me. How anyone can want a player to stay because 'hes our best midfielder' whilst also so openly flirting with the idea of leaving is beyond me. Hes treated so well at the club and is paid handsomely and has benefited so much commercial value due to the clubs exposure.
I know getting worked up about grown men getting paid millions to kick a ball around is ridiculous but respect to the ordinary fans wouldn't go amiss.
Pogba f̶a̶n̶ burner account.
De Ligt "What about United?"
Raiola "feck No! Pogba wants out."
De Ligt "Ok. Where else?"
Raiola "Anywhere else."
Those blaming the fans are pathetic.
Coutinho wanted to leave and it was reported he was really disappointed when the move didn't happen in the summer. I could have used many other players I've seen over the years, not everyone sulks and stinks the place. I'd agree that if he wants to leave then the club should ask for the highest possible from the interested clubs, if there are no agreements, I don't necessarily expect him to play any worse than he has at times in the previous season. Not really sure if Coutinho was a similar condition. Don't think Coutinho flirted with other clubs or went to the public to openly talk about him wanting a new challenge. He was like "I'm fine to stick at Liverpool but if Barca came with an acceptable offer I would like to live". Pogba is different. He wants to leave now, openly talked about it in public and flirted with other clubs several times. If he asks the club to leave and we forces him to stay, I can only see it ending one way which is another very toxic season.
If he wants to leave, sell, it's x10 better than keeping a player who doesn't want to stay here any longer. I'll trust using a player who's intent on playing for the club than a player who's not interested in the club any longer and just stayed because he's forced to.
Glad you found yourself there.Fixed it.

Ups. SorryHuh? I'm mocking the poster of that rant.
As long as the players involved are good and motivated and not looking for paydays ala Sanchez, this would be a good thing potentially. Knowing our club, we'll drag this uncertainty till the last few days of the transfer window driving fans mad all summerAnyway, I agree we should try to milk as much as possible from this deal. Money + player swap will be better for us imo than keeping him, if we manage to make it.
The summer is still long and I'm not expecting his drama to end any time soon.
Can you imagine the type of a shift he would put in if we forced him to sta
what kind of rhetoric is this.Pogba >United for you it seems. One of our own? He was never one of our own.
Great input. Again not reading what’s been posted but being so anti-Pogba that keeping worse players is a positive.Stockholm Syndrome
You’re not actually making a point. My point wasn’t to do with pogba. It was to do with you saying selling pogba means we’re going to play matic and Fred instead - which I do think is bullshit.
Pogba is by far our best midfielder, but I think we can make a better team by replacing him with multiple players. You don’t also win anything by keeping a player who doesn’t want to be here. You just have to move on.
On the caf, even if I don't have exact stats, I'm pretty sure there are more fans "abusing" him than "defending" him. It's not even close. For every fan that's 'abusing' him, there's another blindly defending him. To be honest that ratio is probably being extremely kind.
Again, this our our supposed leader in the dressing room openly angling for a move away, all his own doing. It's unhealthy, no matter how you view his talent.

What's the relation exactly ? So since Hazard said that Pogba will be the same ? Beside, they have different agents, and Raiola isn't going to keep his client at a club he's unhappy at, especially with us playing in EL next season.
Euro 2020 is coming up. Relax. We say our price, give Real a deadline or he stays. He won't play shit because he'd get dropped from his national team. Can you imagine the type of a shift he would put in if we forced him to stay.
Get rid of him, he's polluted the dressing room since Zlatan left. Reinvest the money, we'll be better for it.
