A single player wouldn't be enough, not because Pogba would be better but because we'd need to look for a clear improvement so at Real Madrid, I'd say none sadly.

I don't mind him leaving, provided we get a decent price for a player of his quality. But any player we are bringing in to replace this man better be good at football, or we're well and truly fecked.

You're making things up, where's the animosity. On paper he's our best player, unfortunately his form has always been up and down and if anything a lot more fans were finding every excuse imaginable for him rather then giving him abuse. He can't take even the minimum criticism cause of his inflated ego yet he thinks he won't get that at the club like Madrid.
Not really interested in just getting a player who's better than Pogba. Imo football doesn't work like that. We can build a proper midfield with players who are less quality than him but all of them do their role perfectly well that the end result will be bigger than the sum of it units.
We have spent 3 seasons trying to build a setup to get Pogba to play consistently. It's time to stop thinking about building a midfield on one world class player with deficiencies and build a proper unit.

On replacing his attacking output (stat wise): A quick search on WhoScored reveals 44 players, from the top 5 leagues, that averaged more key passes per 90 minutes from central midfield than Pogba's 1.6 (min 15 games played). Also, out of his 13 league goals, just 6 of them were not from penalties.
There is absolutely no combination of a possible swap with Real Madrid that would make me happy. The players they're considering to let go this summer are not very interesting for me.
Paul just wasn't built for this. I know you look at him and you see this strapping lad but he's not here to lead. He's our best player but he would rather be in a different situation where he's not relied on so much. It's United's fault for putting Paul in this situation.

We've lost better players than Pogba. Don't let the door hit you on the way out etc. The only thing that terrifies me is we have Ole and Woodward to try and fix this mess we are in. We’re already replacing Herrera, that will likely be a first team signing, so that’s one spot. As you’ve said Mctom will get a lot of games, likely another spot taken. Unless you are assuming we signing squad level players. So you have to think we’ll sell pogba and buy one midfielder in order for those to play signficiant games. We’re already going to get a midfielder to replace Herrera and I think we won’t replace Pogba like for like, so more than likely get two midfielders - possibly more.
Ok we’ve not signed anyone, but to say we’re going to play with two of the poorest performing midfielders from last season, next season for significant games, is just not likely.
I think we should go back to Fergie's policy of not working with Raoila, regardless of the player's quality. It's just not worth it. Any player that chooses him as an agent clearly has a certain track in mind, and that's not staying somewhere for very long, because that's not how Mino gets paid.

Footballers don't see things clearly, Pogba could have dreams about becoming the midfield superstar at Real Madrid, loved and adored by all, just like he thought he'd be at United. Some can delude themselves so much, they lose all sense of reality

I’m actually done with all of our players & have no issue with them being sold, £150mil for Pogba is a good deal by anyone’s standards but selling Pogba now misses the point imo, sell from the bottom up & if he’s still sulking get rid once we’ve improved other key areas.

Those stats are good, but pretty much what you'd expect from a decent #8/#10 hybrid who plays in front of two DMs and who takes all the penalties.
