Sell him and buy whom exactly. The only players willing to come to us are Europa League standard that will have us falling behind Everton and Leicester. We are not in contention for a single potential world class talent and people want to get rid of the single already world class talent we have. Keep him like PSG keep their players. They seem to do fine.

Silva no way, Paul is much better physically on top of being able to handle tight space. De Bruyne has the passing game and seems to score a bit more but I'm not sure he's better.
Silva is probably the best in the league for handling tight space, Pogba has a physique but barely uses it. Sterling beat him to a header at Old Trafford

Both Silvas and KDB have been far better for a good amount of time now.

We don’t have a couple of oil wells in Qatar to keep us in the black no matter what. For all the money Utd makes , we still need to behave like a proper business and we can’t have an asset just sitting at home.

Hope we get 2-3 players in before we sell him otherwise clubs will fleece us.

Let’s get Bruno and a box-to-box midfielder in (Ndombele would have unfortunately been perfect).

Don’t care what Dortmund say, I think money will talk with Sancho.

Entirely predictable is this. He might have to get used to the idea he is stuck here, which doesn’t do us much good either if he’s not motivated. Can’t see anybody paying the market price we will ask plus Raiola’s commission. If he doesn’t board the plane on Sunday we need to start fining him big time.

And he beat three City players to a header at the Etihad. Pogba can't do it all on his own. He needs help around him, something very few United players are capable of giving him.

So Neymar and Veratti want to leave PSG and yet play at a very high standard for PSG. These players have ambition. Pogba similarly won't just stop playing. He would want to play well so that Juve and Real target him next year.

Don't forget there's two of them in one team. 3 if we include Fernandinho. A well oiled machine is not like one man team . After Hazard left the PL we are the only one man team left.

Agreed but perhaps Bernardo more this season.

I really am hoping for a quick resolution to the Pogba situation.

I just think it would be utter folly to keep him now he has made his intentions crystal clear.

He does not appear to be a 'knuckle down and we will release you next season' type of player which worked very well with Ronaldo.

For those saying nobody can afford him that is not correct. I thought that when the rumors of him wanting out began but having looked into it and seen some breakdowns on how these things work it is clear that both Juve and Real can comfortably afford 150m and they will not have FFP issues.
Whether Juve or Real want to spend the money is the issue. Juve have a preposterous number of midfielders already having signed Ramsey and Rabiot this summer and as for Real, the only person who really seems to want him there is Zidane, the fans certainly are not keen.

it was a free header where he ran between 2 dozing defenders, nobody challenged him for it. 'beat three city players to a header', good grief! :wenger:

I would actually be really happy about this......If i had any confidence in the clubs ability to use the money to get the players in so we can start next season with a functioning midfield.

But they won’t!

feck him. Get as much as we can but get him out. Don’t need the influence in the squad. Need people that want to be here, even if it does take us a couple of seasons to get back up again.

Great. Tielemans is gone and we won't spend the money on Saul's release clause. Another sub-standard season incoming because 'the market is overpriced and difficult'.

Pogba should grow a pair and say it himself if he wants to go. Hiding behind his agents’ Statement sums him up really, all show but when the real questions need to be answered he is no where to be seen.
Spend the money on koulibaly ands tielemans and shaft Leicester in the process

Yes, Real & Juve can afford him but not sure either would agree to our valuation, plus all the baggage he comes with. Not sure either really need him either tbh. PP is also in a bit of a hole with his Adidas connection, so that rules out PSG for example.

Now it s clearer than ever who was the toxic player in our dressing room.

This only confirms what we all always knew was going to happen. He and his agent did this to us once, they were always going to do it again.

Just a huge shame we have wasted 3 years on this guy when we should have been building a squad.

I do not understand why united have sat on this (if it is indeed united we are waiting for). He clearly wants to leave, never keep a player whos mind is not here. I have nothing against him wanting to go, we are in a hige transition period and he wants to win trophies. At 26 he is closing in on the peak of his career so it is only fair he leaves and we get a reasonable fee of 150m plus for him. His agent is pure poison, and will have a huge say at what cost he goes for. Who can afford 150m plus 20m for him? I would be happy to replace him with Teilemans and Saul.

Those kind of statements should be taken as transfer requests and any loyalty bonuses should be lost. The only way to quieten those pair of fecking cnuts is with the threat of losing money.

Short career, fans on his back, media on his back, no sign of us doing anything of note of the horizon, who can blame him, it's his called ambition.

In another era he'd have been phenomenal for us.

Really hope that Pogba's mum on this forum fecks off right away with him. Christ this shite is so cringe to read.

Paul Pogba, who carried Juventus to CL final? Paul Pogba, who carried France to World Cup trophy? Paul Pogba, who carries our current Manchester United side full of midtable fodder players, previously managed by a washed up has-been and now a non-manager whose only relevant CV is Cardiff relegation? I can't be bothered to look up the statistics again, they're posted twice in this thread (spoiler alert: Only Messi and Ronaldo had higher individual contribution to their teams than Paul during previous season) but surely no sane person can question PP's world class quality. Why else would Real Madrid and Juventus, both continental powerhouses and both miles ahead of us, be so desperate to get him?

It's very optimistic of you to hope that we're capable of "smart investments", because since SAF's retirement we've had two of those - Paul Pogba, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The rest oscillate between "decent, but hoped for more" (Lindelof, Matic) to "absolute embarrassments" (Fred, Bailly, Alexis). I don't think there are many clubs worse than us when it comes to transfers... if any.
I cannot tell if this is serious or not.

Despite it being a shitty scenario, the Mino comments are good news because it means he's been unsuccessful (so far) in bullying the club. Given how much press we saw with De Ligt, rest assured he has been working his nuts off on Pogba as well but we really do hold all the power. Contract has a good bit of time to run and he's been consistently inconsistent.

I doubt it's solely a case of us not wanting to sell, there's also probably a reluctance from clubs like RM to pay a huge amount of money for a player who has some question marks around him. This move by Mino is to pressure us because, regardless of if we've said he's not for sale or if we've given an idea of expectations, clearly no club has done enough to make Woodward consider selling.

As an aside, I would happily see us never touch a Mino player again in the future. He doesn't even hide the fact he creates a payday road map for his players and we are always on there but never the end goal.

Did anyone hear talksport interview Harry Rednap the morning after Pogba dropped the new challenge comments? Banged to rights Rednapp said (I paraphrase) what challenge is he going to get elsewhere that is bigger than he has here, he has failed to prove himself, he is at one of the biggest clubs in the world with an opportunity to do something and he would rather bottle it.

He's a social media whore who's stunk the place out since he came back. His distinct lack of effort over a crucial end to the season was so obvious even a blind man could see it.

So our squad is just about to fly out for preseason and is agent decides to throw this out and immediately casts a dark shadow over our preparations for the new season when we badly need our star players to stand up and lead the club forward.

Hes always acts like the club is beneath him.

He doesn't lead, he fails miserably and epitomises everything that is wrong with the club.

Pogba is a lazy, uncaring, spoilt and yes utterly toxic individual who deserves absolutely no adulation from Utd fans.

I guess some Pogba fan boys just can't see it.
Spot on

Problem for Pogba is that Real have now spent most of their transfer kitty, so they won't pay the £150m we will be asking for. No way back for him with the fans here now either.

Than you can't have him. Simple. Kids like Mbappe and Felix earn that kind of fee, why the eff we should low ball on this.
That's bad for us then. He's inconsistent when he's trying, he's not gonna be great when he isn't. If we buy a few midfielders he might not make the lineup.
