Would you accept Dybala and Sandro for Pogba?

The one thing that truly pisses me off is the deception. Ole stated that he had talked to Paul at the end of the season and he had been assured that Paul was happy and committed to helping United rebuild next season, now he wants out and is using social media and his agent to get what he wants. I would have been fine with Paul saying he wanted a move back in May but instead he misled the team and then reversed his decision two months into the off-season which puts us in an awkward position. Honesty costs nothing but he just doesn't seem to be capable of talking straight. I am not a Pogba hater but my opinion of him has nosedived today.
The boy cannot be trusted. He already betrayed us once before

I get the toxic nature of his attitude, I get that in the long run we’re going to be better off (potentially), but how on Earth are we replacing this?
a>

Realistically we won't be able to replace his creativity, at least not immediately. The hope would be that the loss of creativity might be ameliorated somewhat by also losing the flaws inherent in his often "languid" style. I don't have any doubt we'll be immediately worse off with him gone though.

However, he wants to leave so he will be leaving, whether it's this summer or next. There's nothing the club can realistically do about that so they'll have to bite the bullet at some point. Personally I'd be inclined to get it over with this summer, take whatever hit it brings and start moving on asap. Though it really depends on the offers we're actually getting, the offers we think we might get if we play hardball and how committed we think Pogba will be if he doesn't go this summer.

It's a tough situation for the club and they will be criticised for whatever they do.

Who says? Was supposed to be back on Wednesday, go back a couple of pages. The big baby then cited he needed some additional time off as he has had a stressful 16 months.
Where is it reported that he’s asked for the additional time off? Isn’t this the same reason why Rashford has the same time off or has Rashy been acting a baby too?

Please sell him. I was stupid for wanting him back, what the feck was i thinking doubting Fergie when he wasn't giving him a chance and seemed calm at losing him? That's the only time I doubted him and it was stupid.

Same.

He has a buyout clause.

I heard an interesting take on that though. The club still needs to accept the bid and if they don't you have to go through CAS which takes months and will basically mean missing the window. This is apparently what happened when Arsenal met the clause for Suarez when he was at Liverpool. Arsenal bid 1 pound over the clause and Liverpool said no deal, take us to court if you want to and Arsenal backed down.

How exactly is he toxic? This comment make absolutely no sense. The mourinho era also doesn't count because the whole club was toxic. Some of you need to understand that players need to do whats best for them and leaving for madrid to pogba is whats best for him. However him leaving right now isn't best for us unless someone pays what we are asking. If he can understand that everything will be fine. He has always been professional and I don't expect that to change.

He's a social media whore who's stunk the place out since he came back. His distinct lack of effort over a crucial end to the season was so obvious even a blind man could see it.

So our squad is just about to fly out for preseason and is agent decides to throw this out and immediately casts a dark shadow over our preparations for the new season when we badly need our star players to stand up and lead the club forward.

Hes always acts like the club is beneath him.

He doesn't lead, he fails miserably and epitomises everything that is wrong with the club.

Pogba is a lazy, uncaring, spoilt and yes utterly toxic individual who deserves absolutely no adulation from Utd fans.

I guess some Pogba fan boys just can't see it.

If he wants to go someone needs to pay what we want for him, then he can go having failed to do anything more than come back and waste a few years being decent overall, great in patches.

Seriously what was the point ?

If no one is willing to pay what we want for him then he can't go anywhere and we need time for a replacement so it needs to be done asap.

Oh the timing.. just as united set off or about to on tour.. nothing like trying to stop Pogba going

his agent should be finished... refuse to deal with him. Fine Pogba for his comments and isolate him in the reserves..

I can't wait to see him in a Madrid shirt. The Madrid fans will be soon on his back when he flops. Look at Bale whose done OK at Madrid, won everything and yet the Madrid fans treat him like shit.
He isn't going to be forced to carry other players and do their job. Infact Madrid, Juve or any big club is probably going to be light work for him compared with here.

Raiola is an absolute worm. After another pay day from a sign on fee for one of his biggest clients. What would he pocket if pogba leaves, £30+m?

He’s even getting a cut of the de ligt fee and it’s likely there will be a very affordable release clause for his next big move after that.

He’s as greedy as his gut suggests. I hope we keep pogba unless someone comes in and offers what he’s worth.

I was about to comment along these lines, but you already covered it. He will probably do a lot better in a better side. As it is, we have weaknesses throughout our side. He’s our best player, but a weird one, never really seemed to become the backbone in our team he should have been. Will be interesting to see what happens.

I had low enough expectations for the season before all this

The Bottom line is some one has to pay the money to sign him, it currently doesn’t look like anyone has any intention of doing that.

So I think unfortunately for all parties he is staying.

I think privately the club would not mind him going, but publicly they are saying they want him to stay, to get a decent price for him.

I would say the club values him at 150 million but would sell for 120 + bonuses.

Personally if he does not want to be here, let him go, but for the correct price.

Same with Lukaku.

Yes, because running will split the defences like his lofted through ball to Rashford against Spurs for example.

We are a joke as we'll be left with three CMs total, Matic, McT and Fred. Let's all let that sink in for a moment! I've thought for a while we need three more CMs before Pogba goes, now we'll need four.
I agreed with you. :) and agree we need to buy 2 if not 3 quality mids even if he stayed.

We've better been promised de ligt for this.

I am beginning to think that those players who have Raoila as their agent are only after the best deal (most money) and dont really give a damn about the club they are playing for.

Who else has Raoila on his books?

It was already obvious that he wanted to leave so having his agent spell it out changes nothing.

Just hurry up and sell him and focus on the replacements. And for the love of god don't let Madrid palm their trash like Bale off their wage bill and onto ours.

Sell him for £180-200 million. If Maguire is worth £80 million then surely Pogba is worth at least twice that.

Off his wiki page so there might be more:

Don't care who the player is, if I was United chief, I would refuse to do business with Raiola ever agan.

No one will offer what we want for him because no teams have the money to buy him. So we could be stuck with a player that doesn't want to be at the club, I expect him to cost us more points than he brings us next season.

On Raiola, everyone hates the guy but at the end of the day he's doing what he's good at and that's engineering moves for his players who want to leave. He gets the best deal possible for himself and his clients, rightly or wrongly the guy is doing his job and is brilliant at it.

Pogba has 3 years left on his contract so tell Raiola that the asking price is £150 million minimum so go do his job and find Pogba a new club that will pay the asking price, in the meantime let’s start the process of his replacement/s and not worry about Pogba.

The most important thing for the club is to focus on the club instead of being dragged into the saga that Pogba and Raiola will want seeing as they crave attention, I think we should look at bringing in 3 players for the midfield.

Let’s start negotiations for Eriksen, Longstaff and Bruno Fernandes who all offer different things and provide a far more balanced midfield. Those three along with Matic, Fred, McTominay and Pereira offer a wide variety as everyone of them are different players and none of them bring a cnut agent or constant drama to the club.

I'd take half a bag of quavers for him tbh, stale ones at that. Can't be anywhere near as stale as his half arsed performances for us.

The air that replaces him will work harder.

You disagree? I’d say de Bruyne and Silva are better midfielders.
Silva no way, Paul is much better physically on top of being able to handle tight space. De Bruyne has the passing game and seems to score a bit more but I'm not sure he's better.

Maybe that's how it works for buyouts. But for release clauses, it seems to be with the league so I don't think it's with the "selling" club.

Silva and DeBruyne have much better football brains.

Any club can not realistically afford him this summer. All this fuss as he will be forced a 25 % pay cut this year with poor performances he put last season bar 10 games.

he barely does his own job for 90 mins, let alone other people. hopefully the handful of jilted disciples here will follow him until Zidane gets sacked, then can start this all over again. 3 years here and its everyone elses fault but his

It's consistency with Pogba, not just game to game but over 90 mins. An outrageous pass or piece of skill often masks a game where he was pretty average in.

Despite these recent quotes, I still can't see him going this summer.
Noone is going to shell the required money out.
