Its bad netcode and nothing else. As I said, SSFIV is working perfectly for me
Red River online working with no lag, Black Ops working online with no lag. It's all fine. Seems to just be MK.

Yeah, Netherrealm have said they are going to continue supporting the game and the truth is MK has only been up on PSN for 3 days total because it went down. I think they managed to improve the xbox live performance so hopefully they'll pull through and improve the netcode so that its stable online. Even if king of the hill always has lag... since that ones much worse

The PPE is notoriously bad at running a full network stack. XB360 basically has 3 of them, so yes, if you get your net code wrong, on either platform, you are going to have issues.
Used the trial, played 2 games. A bit of lag and beaten twice. My debut was a failure
Yeah had to use the trial too, still cant redeem my reptile Game lagged too much, was winning matches but you dont enjoy it when its so laggy. Watching the PDP tournament stream and a Netherrealm guy just said NR have tonnes of patches for the game and to expect significant improvements with the next patch. Sounds great

Sounds greatokay so playing a bit of king of the hill here. Got 4 players in the room and its not lagging much at all. Barely noticeable. Promising signs and its quite fun to be in there judging a match and then taking your turn with the winner
just bought meself a ps3 today and posting on here with it. class bit of kit. don't like the controller all that much though
The controller is awesome. I'm going to get a ps3 to xbox controller conterter eventually so I dont have to deal with that clunky garbage and can also use my arcade stick on my 360
Hmm how you mean? I'm pretty sure you can't use PS3 things on 360, but you can use a 360 controller on PS3, that's what I do when I play shooter games since I don't like the PS controller trigger buttons.
You can get a device that you plug into the 360 and you then plug your PS pad / fight stick /whatever into that

Ah no idea they had made one for 360, I have one of those XCM crossfire adapters but the 360 to PS3 version. It works great for me, it needs a wired 360 controller but that's no biggie.
Yeah, I've seen it work before even though the reviews dont seem to be very good. So I know it'll do even if its temperemental

How long did it take you lot to receive that email which lets you change your password? I've been waiting for hours!
I performed the update -- which failed the first time -- and then tried to sign in, at which point I was asked to change my password.
I did the update. Once I tried to sign in they told me they would send me an email so I could change my password via a PC. This was 5 hours ago. Tried again 2 hours back. Still haven't got any email.
They said email hosts are throttling mail due to the large amounts

They don't really owe anyone anything though really, a bunch of geeks got angry and had to nerd rage and they were obligated to do what they did despite how annoying it was.
It's okay if you play in co-op, but is very much a bargain basement game (whereas at least Infamous, Wipeout HD and LittleBigPlanet are good games - just old).
Isn't the implication that they knew about the hack into member details for quite a while before revealing it - and therefore their apology is for this 'deceit' and breach of trust rather than just for the inconvenience?
