Gaming PlayStation 5

I've played Spiderman already mate just not that far in. It's more about the hours. You could sink 20-30 into the first if you go for collectibles and what not.

Lots of games at the moment and a small attention span.

Fair enough. The miles stuff in the first game was really good, but you don't need to see it to play MM

Also @One Night Only doesn’t look like Asda will be getting stock. They keep saying on Twitter they won’t get stock until later this year. I am sure there will be some other retailers who probably take more orders on release date like with the Series X.

If you like missions where you have to avoid being seen while only being able to walk at 1 mph, then people should definitely check out the first miles mission in the original spiderman game ;)

Kind of ridiculous that UK isn't getting this today. I imagine on a per capita basis, UK would be quite high on console/gaming spend.

That’s my DualSense and Spider-Man MM arrived :D

Now waiting for the Pulse 3D headset, Media remote, DualSense charging station station & COD Cold War to arrive hopefully later today.

EDIT: Remainder of the accessories have now arrived, bring on November 19th! :D

Soooo, I received this...

It could be that they're sending the headset, controller and charging dock tomorrow and holding off on the console. But how would that even make sense? Surely it's much more sensical to deliver it all in one go next week, rather than do two trips...
I received the same email last night, I'm assuming my email was for the Headset rather than the console (I ordered both in the same order, and they both have the same order number).

I'm also pretty sure when I ordered them from Argos the site said that they would be delivered separately as well.

We never saw you.. where's your selfie?

Don’t do selfie’s with consoles. It’s just not my thing and you need to pay me for a picture.

@esmufc07 please don’t. It was just in jest. I rather you stream some demon’s souls as I need advice on how to tackle that game and I heard you are the most cultured and well rounded gamer on here.

I have noticed DPD in my street around 12 for the last few days. Hope they call by at a similar time next Thursday.

Would be typical If mine arrived at 10pm

The DPD guy when back at his depot:

"I have noticed this one guy from a street in my daily route, just standing outside staring at me. Every single day. It's getting weird now."

They don’t deliver late. Even once I requested a late delivery around 5.30pm, the driver called me and asked if he can come early. They want to be finished by 5pm.

There's been a few of these stories coming up on Reddit :nervous:
Worrying there’s a few of these stories coming out.

People having issues with the hard drive too
There are always going to be these stories. They just stand out more than those of the thousands of people buzzing over their perfectly fine console and of course then there's even more that don't feel the need to post about theirs.

I really wouldn't read too much into it.

Wouldn’t take Reddit as gospel as some of them could be faking it for attention just like that Xbox Vape guy. He got his 5 minutes of fame.

Happens with all new tech. There’s a small tiny chance they could die and Sony/MS have consoles set aside for that reason, so he should get his new console pretty fast.

Yep, and unfortunately it's always a risk with a brand new product. The one saving grace is that as they're new, Sony won't want bad PR and should be replacing these no fuss ASAP.

Yeah. One of the first comment on "Creepy Woody"'s post was from someone who got a Series X that was bricked (not sure if any relation to Dane from Hull). There'll always be a few that don't work, it happens. Only downside is being a few days without a console but you'll get the new one at no extra charge.

My copy of MM was shipped via Royal Mail, but the post just turned out without a game in sight.

Just as well they changed the release date for games to give them more time to show up, I would have been pissed if my console arrived next week and I had nothing to play on it.

For PS5 GAME orders.

GAME have sent me £30 off for selected Xbox and PS games to celebrate next gen consoles, as I bought a X from them, so they probably do the same with PS5.

The games are control, Avengers, Dirt and Yakuza. I own them all, so Mike Ashley is a bit late to the party.
