Sounds like a full (non VR) Astrobot is on the way.

Playroom is supposed to be great and I have heard the Astro game might be the best title on PSVR (sadly I don't give a **** about VR gaming and haven't been able to play it). I have always loved 3d platformers (Crash and Spyro are among my all time favourites) and it would be good to see Astro become a regular first party title. Sadly Activision have their greedy mitts on both Crash and Spyro, but Astro seems to be developing into a good brand of its own as a Playstation mascot.
 
Should get mine in tomorrow :drool: Hopefully Walmart aren't dickheads and delay it for whatever reason.

Getting Assassins creed, sackboy and demons souls to start (and just loading up fifa), so between those 4 and that astro game, should be plenty.

Don't need one really, it would be nice to watch things on a bigger screen but my computer does everything I need. I have a switch and it's just another expense. I only recently got back into gaming when I played games on a friends PS4. Moreover, it's a few hundred quid I could spend on something else.

Got my promo code from Amazon for MM bonuses & game due to be delivered tomorrow by DPD. Hopefully I’ll get the console on release. Mines still showing as 19th for delivery, but some people are apparently showing delivery date as 20th.

You still have to pay a TV license even if you don’t own a TV and watch BBC. I know what you trying to do and it’s not going to work.

Amazon have dispatched my extra controller. ShopTo have sent my mate blank DPD tracking just like Argos have to Elvis.

I would contact them and get on their case about that. I think they will manage to screw it up like they did with the X yesterday.
 
Sackboy reviews are starting to come in, looks good


The result is remarkable. Not only does this game look the part – it’s running at a flawless 60 frames-per-second, with razor-sharp textures and even some raytracing – but it’s just a joy to play. Where the old LittleBigPlanet games were criticised for their floaty platforming, Sackboy is much more responsive here, with a Luigi-esque double-jump and a Metroid-inspired roll ability.

I've only spent a day with Sackboy so far, and it's hard to think of a game that has delivered so much joy in such a short time. The platforming strikes that perfect balance between challenging and fun, using all sorts of ingenious tricks - motion control platforms, grappling hooks, herding small creatures, planting seeds - to keep things fresh. This is bumping up to the top of my PS5 must-play list alongside Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and it's hard to imagine how it could ruin it, beyond Sackboy suddenly declaring he's a Trump supporter. Keep an eye out for our full review once we've spent more time as a sweet little sackcloth boy in a tiger costume.

I am very into this kind of game, but it just feels a bit expensive.
 
Sackboy seems to be getting 7/8 which is what I was expecting, so don’t mind that. It’s something different from the other games.
 
Is there actually a PS5 version of MM standard or is it a case of buying it for the PS4? I guess since you can it would have greater resale value anyway

I bought the standard version of MM on PS5. Doesn't come with the remaster of Spiderman (which I already own). Think the price is pretty much the same as MM PS4

That useless Argos tracking information is only for Miles Morales. They already sent me my PS5 tracking code last week. Coming via DPD who are usually pretty good

I ordered a second controller from them, too. It's Royal Mail like yours:

Has anyone had an update for any preorders from GAME? I got emails saying they’d take payment last week. Spider-Man Miles Morales and the headset were being packed, but still not sent out yet.
 
Well, Amazon has confirmed my headset and controller order for Thursday and it's been dispatched. Shame that my actual console is probably not going to arrive until a month or two afterwards by the sound of it. At least I can use the headset on my PS4. The problem I have now is I'm in this weird limbo phase where I want to get games, Spiderman MM, AC Valhalla, Cyberpunk but I really want to experience them on PS5 yet I don't know when that's going to arrive, slightly frustrating.
