ARrgh... Reserved myself a console in early August, wound up having to wait because of the shop screwing up... They figure it out by this week and send it off by Friday, leaving my PS4 in a box on the other side of the country. It better be here by Monday, or I'm going postal.

It's a shame, it's generally a good shop. I wouldn't discard them because of a slip-up and one stupid customer support staffer. Every business has margins of error, it's unavoidable. My father has a business and they bend over backwards to be fair to customers who have grievances, but you can't please everybody and every now and again you cock something up yourself from sheer humanness. Annoys me a bit when people blanket dismiss a company or something based off one bad experience ;P (no offence)
Yeah i know where you come from, but i was in contact with their support department every day for over a week, with different people most times and they were all saying different things, and everytime i got a real answer it was one of those copy/paste kind of answers (that the next guy said didn't apply to this case...)
It just grew frustrating.

They said it was the last one, I was umming and arring, a woman walked in and asked if they had any. It depended on me! I took it and probably ruined her kids Christmas!

I'd have probably let the lady have it if she seemed decent enough, probably for her kid or something and I could have waited till New Year. Just think, the kid is going to open a game of monopoly or some shit instead of a nice new PS4. They will be distraught, the lad will never forgive his mam for ruining his childhood, he will get bullied at school because everyone else has a new console, and he will end up jobless, homeless and living on benefits. I hope you're happy.

The bundle also had 12 month PSN subscription and Man of Steel and Pacific Rim on blu ray. Was 549, so more than I wanted to pay-wasn't particularly fussed for the blu rays, but only an extra 30.
