Any reasons GT6 isn't on the PS4?. Is it purely that the game has been designed on the PS3?
Polyphony have many times said that the premium car models have been put together for PS4 at their highest detail.
So no, it's the install base. Sony has expectations of selling 5m PS4s by March. GT6 will sell more than 5m copies on PS3 by that time. There are 80m PS3s in the wild or there abouts. Sony don't expect to have more than 5m PS4s in the wild by March. GT5 is around 11m units now on an install base of 80m, and it might sell when the fat lady sings to 10% of the install base. That's 10m copies on PS3 and maybe come the end of 2015 2m on PS4. It makes sense for PS4 to cross 30 or 40m units before they release GT7 on PS4.
Look at The Last of Us, it's sold 5m+ copies and was a totally new IP. If you have enough people owning your target platform then it's more likely that you will at least break even or make a profit.
What are the best deals out there for 1 year PS Plus subscriptions? £40 feels a bit steep no?

Both Xbox and Playstation run subscriptions to access online now. Both the same price, you get two free games a month out of Playstations offerings though.
Check ebay and amazon, you might find one around £35.
No deals? I usually get my 12 months live code for around 25-30 online. Was hoping to do the same for PS+

You do realise that you can bank the games without owning the systems? I'm a PS+ subscriber for 2 years now, and the amount of content I now have is such that I don't have the storage space for it. It must be something like 80 games over 3 systems now.
PS Plus really is an awesome deal, particularly if you are a PS3 or Vita owner. Be interesting to see what they continue to give at the PS4 level early on but its a great way to keep me playing my PS3 and eventually I will grab a Vita simply because I will have games galore for it.
You really can't complain at £40 a year, its a great service. The only downside is hiding the muliplayer behind it for PS4 but I can understand it from a business point of view, Microsoft paved the way for them.

Got an email from amazon saying it should be here next week when it was expected to arrive after Christmas. Excited. 
To be fair I had no idea about benefits beyond access to online gaming. Are those indie games? Not really bothered by those.
The ps4 ones are indie but ps3 has had top 3rd party titles like far cry 3, kingdoms of Amalur, xcom, assassins creed III, Saints row the third, mafia II, Hitman revolution??? and stacks more.
I'm sure there will be top PS4 titles appearing by the first anniversary of launch if not before.

So I'm going to buy a PS4 in the next few months (most likely in April) and I want to buy 5 games with it, what should I go for?
If you liked any of the assassin creed games, assassins creed 4 is a must. Brilliant game IMO. Fifa 14 is hugely improved on next gen, feels like a different game. I haven't played much of battlefield yet but I heard it's very good as well. Not sure on what's coming out early next year though, but those 3 I highly recommend.
Edit: the witcher 3 looks great as well coming sometime next year, never played the other ones though.

He sold the two consoles that cost him £400 + £330 to buy (£730 in total) for £500 and £480 which is £980 total, leaving him with the console that cost him £350 to buy.
