Because, it looks weird.
Actually the swinging looks okay. Not quite Spider-Man 2 in some ways but better in others..

There is so much movement you can do in the air. He's basically flying in a complicated way, rather than swinging.
A little bit of physics breaking is great.. but you need consistency.
Whereas spiderman 2, because it's so physics based it's just a hell of a lot of fun.
And yeah, Insomniac are one of my favourite ever studios.. but I felt that the R&C reboot was rushed and unfinished. So I'm not giving them the benefit of the doubt.
I guess i'm just not seeing what you're seeing. It looks great to me and to everyone who has played the demo already. I can't wait for it personally and thought the R&C reboot was great. As i said, i have huge faith in them and i'm sure they're going to do a great job. The issues you seem to have a problem with i don't see as issues at all, really.

From those whom have played the demo, web swinging has been described as a cross between Spider-Man 2 and Web of Shadows. Have heard nothing but rave reviews re web swinging.
Yeah love Spider-Man 2... I could just swing around that city all day..saving balloons. Letting people fall of buildings.

Picked gran turismo sport up for cheap on the ps store the other day.
It's absolutely lovely! The layout of the game and menus is very nice, the gameplay is still as good as ever. There's enough single player content for the tenner.
Had my first race online and came mid table. Loads of bad drivers though just slamming into you which causes your rating to go down.
I'd hope they'd give a proper GT with the licenses and SP next time. I'm not focussed on online play unless it's with friends tbh. Racing ransoms sucks.

The licenses and missions are still there. As is the cups.

Nah. I have a standard Pro. I like it, though. 2TB is a nice addition.
Just started playing PlayStation for the first time in years. Went with Far Cry 5 as I loved the previous ones. It hasn’t let me down so far.
It pissed me off. The ultra aggressive AI especially. EVERYONE knows who you are and can spot you from miles away. Even animals constantly attack you.
Also, I was hit with a sleep dart while in an underground bunker alone in order to facilitate a kidnapping. Dumb.

I've enjoyed it so far, but I'm also a bit of an enigma when it comes to Far Cry, so I always spot them before they spot me. Even the animals.
It's a good game overall, but more flawed than the previous 2, I think. I'd probably go 3, 4 then 5.
Is there a stock shortage of the PS4 Pro?

Insomniac is an excellent developer and they are creating their own storyline, which is not tied into any of the movies.
The web swinging by almost all accounts is better than Spider-Man 2.
Think Arkham Knight with aerial combat

Spider-Man will be fantastic. It comes out on the same day as NBA 2K19 so I’m going to send my wife somewhere for the weekend then.

Cannot wait for Spiderman - will likely be the only single player game I play (for more than an hr or so) all year.
I am selling my games right now as I am cleaning up my house focused on trying to own less things. I really don’t think I would ever finish Watch Dogs 2 or Persona 5.
I will probably get €500+ for all the games I own but wouldn’t play, cleaning two shelves. Perfect. The amount of satisfaction you get from getting rid of all the stuff you don’t need is priceless too.

I've been looking at Watch Dogs 2 for ages but don't trust myself to play it. I bought the new Far Cry recently and have only played about 1hr. I smashed 3 & 4 too.
I agree, but getting rid of stuff or selling it is effort. I'm the same, with a load of consoles/games I never play (Switch!).
True on Horizon 4, I guess I don't really think of driving games as single player. As it's something I can pick up and play in short bursts, I'll definitely be on it.
Red Dead I think I may end up buying for the online (RDR's online was underrated - but I guess they will likely turn this into a GTA online of sorts). As much as the graphics look great and I'm sure the world will be very realized, I don't know what innovative things they are doing with it & I don't expect it to grip me. Whilst the 1st is objectively a great game, I didn't care for it like most do.
I don't have as much time for games these days so when I jump on it's almost always online (mostly Fortnite & Fifa at the moment). I struggle to dive in and out of single player games when I can only play for short periods at a time.
The 2tb machine has crashed all the sites that were selling it.

Most of the games I buy I lose interest in 40-60% through. Better buy less and focus on one game at a time, this way I can get it finished without thinking about the next one in line already.
I think for me rest of the year it's FIFA 19, RDR2 and then Hitman 2. Probably one or two that I've not heard of before that sound good as well.

It does feel that your comments are nostalgia gone too far type imo, Spiderman 2 is awful to play nowadays.
