Gaming PlayStation 4 (Console)

Playlink, Telltale style games, Gauntlet, Diablo, Rayman, Plants vs Zombies, LC Temple of Osiris (sp?), Disney Infinity, etc... There are loads

Some good bundles about at the minute and thinking about picking one up.

Is there much of a difference visual wise between the PS4 Pro and the normal one?

Pro is £300 with FIFA on Amazon. Will it drop more for Black Friday or Christmas?

So, chances of some good Black Friday deals on PSN?

I’ve been holding out for a number of games, shadow of Mordor, the new AC, South Park on top of my list

There was a deal at Currys = 299 for 1TB PS4Pro with GTSport, CODWW2 and Fallout 4. Was sold out when I got there.... then sold out by the time I checked again online. Fuuuuuuu...

Anyway just picked one up of ShopTo...

Hopefully looking to get some good deals on games I've been waiting for, so far the list I can think of is:

Persona 5
Nier: Automata
Dying Light
Assassins Creed Origins

sale starts now. Persona 5 and Wolfenstein 2 are mine. Both @ €35 each

New AC, SP and Nier not cheap enough. Reckon they will go down further soon though

Wolfenstein 2 is weird. There is something not quite right with the shooting in that game. It's almost like the gun obscures your ability to aim down the sights. Consequently, it's easier to duel wield. The game is also hard as f*ck. There is very little indication when you're being hit until you're almost dead. You will get very, very frustrated. There are a couple of parts in the game where you will have to replay them over and over and over. I literally died hundreds of times. Still managed to beat it, though.

Play it on Bring 'em on, please. That's one above medium difficulty. There's another three difficulty levels above that if you really want a challenge.

well I take that back, no games are mine. PS store appears to be broken. I want to give them money but they will not take it

you guys have any recommendations for 2 player games?
wife is complaining about watching me play PES all the time
Overcooked. Great one to play with the missus, if you are good at communicating! Basically running a kitchen, you get orders and time limits etc. Only about £7?

didn't find it hard at all, a few difficult segments, but nothing that tough.

worst part for me was the 'stealth', you're expected to do it to take out the commandos before they can alarm but it's pretty much impossible to do, enemies see you too easily and the cover system is crap.

great game though, good (ridiculous) story and very fun.

What difficulty did you play it on?

You played it on 'I am death incarnate'? BULLSHIT.
I should say, whatever one is the equivalent of 'hard', so one up from normal I guess, which is usually one down from the hardest? Maybe there was more than 1 more difficulty level after that.

also I played on PC and shooter's are easier on PC, keyboard and mouse and all that.

I did read that PC players were finding it more manageable than us console peasants, due to the increased accuracy of keyboard and mouse. The f*cking Courthouse took me hours to do. At the end, I found the best method was sprinting around the area and using melee attacks. Kind of counter intuitive in a shooter.

Anyway, these are the difficulty levels.

Oh yeah the courthouse was a bitch and the last battle was a bitch too. It definitely had some fights that required quite a few goes, overall though I didn't find it that bad. I always go for the hard option on PC FPS games because they're almost all on consoles now too which means they're easier to allow for the fact that controllers aren't as easy to use for FPS games, sounds like this is a bit of an exemption though.

Must have been the terror Billy one then seeing as the last one is unlocked initially.

Caved in and got a Pro with FIFA 18, COD:WW2 and Destiny 2 on a Black Friday deal.

Anyone know if I can leave one console in rest mode downloading things and sign in and use the other console at the same time? Will it stop the resting one from downloading?

thanks, it was $16.99 over here
definitely a pretty fun game
however the missions would be a little easier with a 3rd hand in the kitchen lol

I live in Ireland we dont have GAME over here. convert that to EURO plus postage and its not worth it

Besides Im pretty much all digital now

Why are you digital?

I still prefer discs and it’s really the only reason I’m on consoles. As soon as discs are gone then I’m just building a powerful PC. I have about 20 digital games on all platforms compared to over 200 plus discs.

Just not a fan of any physical media anymore

I’ve pretty much gotten rid of every disc I’ve ever owned

Yes it's pretty hectic! We completed it the other day and there is a festive DLC as well.

I think you can do a 2 v 2 which would be great fun with another couple
