Gaming PlayStation 4 (Console)

The shameless PUBG rip off mode is being added to Fortnite today (it's free to play). Get downloading from the PS Store.

Not if you're not going to play it much.
Hmmm. I hear ya and I told myself I gotta stop buying games I'm not sure about as my backlog is in the hundreds. But it's battlefield.... Is the game good?

I heard it's good, from a few people. I had no interest but I'll be taking a peek.

Battlefield is good but it's not really a game that you can dip in and out of like CoD, in my opinion. Especially if you enjoy Conquest or if you want to try Operations (think a huge game of Conquest over various maps).

More on Fortnite, shamelessly stolen from Neogaf.

Truth, I used to spend loads of time on it with a few mates. This is why I'm a bit hesitant as I spend most of my time playing VR games now, and those mates have moved on also. I mainly lost the interest initially because of the shift to WW1, just didn't fancy it. This is all leading me to say fcuk it, I'll leave it for now.

I just checked and Sniper Elite 4 is still £50 on the PS Store. I'll be keeping an eye out for a good deal on that though, sounds like some Metal Gear Solid type gameplay there which I love.

I'm thankful for fortnite tbh. Pubg shouldn't have been arseholes and signed an xbox exclusivity deal. I've heard good things so should be interesting to try out.

Tried to get a game on Fortnite. 15 min waiting list. Shut it off and tried again. 17 min waiting list. And that's just to log in.

So... if i've bought a ps4 pro today with fifa 18 an extra controller. All the uncharted games. Last of us remastered and kingdom hearts 1.5 and 2.5 for the gf but I had say £150 extra to spend on games what would you go for?

You didn't have the regular PS4? What kind of games are you into? I'd say Persona 5, Ratchet & Clank and Bloodborne. I've not played Horizon Zero Dawn but apparently that is great.

What kind of games do you prefer? @DanH Horizon Zero Dawn is a must for ps4 owners as is Bloodborne as Damien mentioned, If you havent played The Witcher 3 Id also add that to the list, Metal Gear Solid V is free in October for PS Plus subscribers so make sure you take advantage of that as its an awesome game.

I can recommend lots of great smaller cheap digital games but with what you got there and whats been recommended id say you have you plate pretty full right now.

I did but I found myself not playing any games. I had a dozen left unopened so one day I too it all to cex. Now I'm single again and regretting that decision. I've been tempted by persona as I enjoy p4golden on the vita.
Thanks

Definitely Horizon Zero Dawn. I got my PS4 a few months ago and have that along with PES2017, The Last of Us, Deus Ex, Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Just Cause 3, Tomb Raider and The Golf Club 2.

HZD and TLOU are the only two I've finished and the only two I've never got bored of to be honest. I'm trying really hard to get into The Witcher because I reckon it'll pay off later but its so vast, repetitive and clumsy so far.

I started a New Game+ on Horizon last week and I'm just as glued to it as I was the first time round. It's a brilliant game.

A chick with dreadlocks shooting arrows and slingshots at robot animals?
A chick. Dreadlocks. Shooting arrows / slingshots. Robot animals (which are generally trying to kill you).

Yeah, nothing there screams 'kids' game' to me exactly. It's also rated 16 and over.

Seriously, more of you fcukers need to pick one of these up if there's a price reduction. I'm having the time of my life with this thing. This last year has been great wrt VR gaming....

What are you talking about?
I watched a gameplay video on youtube.

Don't get me wrong I'm impressed with the reviews and all and I'd like to give it a shot but the game seems a bit silly. What's so good about it?

The story, the combat, the world building, it's well acted, it's got interesting characters, the variation of enemies, the visuals are superb....I could go on like. It's really just a great game with some very minor negatives that when weighed up against what it does well seem very insignificant.

Ok, thanks. I need to play through The Last of Us first though.

Suspect my wife has gotten me this for Christmas. How often do you need to charge and are there any charging stands for sale?

It's not wireless. The move controllers are if she's got you them too (which I highly recommend).

It's brilliant though, and more and more good games are coming out for it.
duly noted! any specific game recommendations?
