Gaming PlayStation 4 (Console)

Consoles might not use cutting edge hardware... but why does that matter? Yes, yes, 1080p60. Sure. But a lower price point is better for more people, and hardware doesn't make the game

So many good titles to consider this and next month. Rachet and Clank, Doom 4, Uncharted 4, No Mans Sky....we really are spoiled.

That reminds me.

Regarding Ratchet and Clank. My preorder came with a code for the "Bouncer" weapon.

I've been complaining about this on reddit, but thought I might as well talk about it here. I think the Bouncer is rather OP. I'd almost recommend not using it if you want the "proper" experience.

Maybe the game is easy anyway - I don't know. But upgraded it can clear out a lot of rooms that I suspect are meant to be challenging.

Spoilt brats. In my day you had to complete the game twice to rack up enough coin to buy the RYNO.

Last year was great too

Just seems to be a never ending supply of quality games for the past 18 months

No man's sky looks pretty boring from what I've seen
Yeah I don't know what the point of it is. Discover a planet and then what?

Do research on it guys, there's going to be a lot to do. You can trade and communicate with other species, update a very large variety of weapons, upgrade your ship based on resources gathered on planets/in space and a lot more stuff we don't even know. Not every planet is going to even have life, or recorces, so finding the shit you need based on how you want to play will take a very long time. The objective is to get to the centre of the universe.

Not going to be a game for everyone though, personally the idea of an infinite universe fascinates me.

Is it possible to download the newest update somewhere and also updates for games like Fifa and NBA??? As my computer has not been connected with the internet in like 7 months I want to try to update my games :)

Yea, same here. It's not for everyone but I know I would like to hope into No Man's Sky universe and just relax

Pretty sure my accounts been hacked. Locked out of YouTube, BBC Iplayer etc, another PS4 activated as the primary account. Really pissed off.

I haven't played 2k16 specifically, but the series is ridiculously fun, and the presentation absolutely nails the NBA/USA style.
Yep, plus it has Rachel DeMita...

NBA 2K16 is the best sports game out there, absolutely incredible coup for PS Plus this month. I have it for Xbox One with plenty of saves and countless hours of mastering it, besides I don't think I'll be able to fit this on my PS4 hard drive without giving up on something I don't want to give up on (it's close to 60GB) I think so I'll get this but I will likely not install it for a while but if you have space to make it work, definitely go for it. Gone Home is also a very good title and Siren Blood Curse is not bad either for PS3 owners. Good month overall.

More information on new consoles will be revealed at E3 later this month, GameStop CEO Paul Raines has said.

The retail boss leaked the news in an interview with Fox Business yesterday while discussing the success of Uncharted 4, where he said: "It's attached some hardware and we've also sold a fair amount of digital content that goes with Uncharted, so we're pretty pleased with that title.

"It's coming off of a year, we had a record net income year last year and our GameStop-branded stores had record profitability as did our technology-brand stores, so we're very happy with that title and where the business is at.

"We'd love to see some virtual reality and some new consoles come in. We're going to hear about that at E3," he continued. "But I'd say for investors, GameStop's very healthy and a very resilient company."

So hopefully PS4 neo and Xbox scorpio are announced at E3.

NBA 2k16 only allows a quick match right now and says its downloading at 36%. Do I need to keep the game running to finish the download?

Edit: Nevermind. Just saw its showing in download list as well.

Overwatch tempts me but I have it on PC.. do I really want it on both? Not sure.

It's funny, I've been debating whether to also get Overwatch on PC. I find aiming with a mouse easier, but the level of competition on PC will be higher too (a negative, as I'm not great as it is). I did get Battleborn on Xbox, despite already having the PC version, but that was before Overwatch came out and I forgot that it had ever existed :)

Edit: if not Overwatch, I'd try something like Plants vs Zombies GW2, it's a really fun shooter which never fails to entertain.

Hmm Battleborn tempts me also but not at the price they charge digitally.. quite ridiculous.

Might wait and see if there is an e3 sale.

I wouldn't recommend Ratchet and Clank unless you like keeping games like I do. Even then I buy the boxed version.

After you finished it there is very little replayability.
