Sneaky bum time - Vaccination status: dozed off
I loved Sly Cooper as well. That era had so many good games of this genre.

'You can hack your way through most of the game, relying on team-mate revives or endless respawns, but towards the end of the campaign, Alienation sweeps a lot of your crutches away and you have to get through a massive boss-ridden level that doesn't allow you to come back from the dead as easily. With failure looming close, Alienation suddenly forces you to engage with its full tactical depths as you juggle ammo clips, skill recharge rates and the enemies you're up against. It's a beautiful thing to behold: the order that lurks behind every Housemarque game shining clearly through the carnage.
It makes for a thrilling twin-stick shooter, alone or with friends, and it also bodes well for the fabled Housemarque/Eugene Jarvis collaboration. Here is a game about chaos, for the most part, but strung through it is the same kind of thinking that made Resogun's precision waves such a delight to pit yourself against. It's carnage, but it's as beautifully balanced as it is relentless.'

With Alienation, however, it's up to something different. Like Dead Nation it's a grue-spattered, furiously-paced twin-stick shooter, but now there's something else going on beneath the surface. There are clues when you start playing in the choice of three character classes - the Bio-Specialist, Tank and Saboteur - each one with a unique primary weapon and a range of class-specific capabilities, designed to heal and support, deal damage or disrupt. You'll fall for Alienation's great twitch gameplay, but it's with its RPG-like elements that the hooks really sink in. Alienation has created something that's part twin-stick blaster, part sci-fi dungeon crawler, with all the looting, levelling and upgrading that implies. Limited locations and the repetitive shoot 'em up gameplay might make it a less enticing prospect a few weeks in, but right now it's impossible to resist.
Yeah definitely. And those rooms of robots.Yeah, the Bouncer is really powerful, also makes it super easy to get the fellows at the cannons.

Thinking of selling and raising another £300 for a new PC which will double as a gaming machine. Are there any worthwhile exclusives I would miss out on?
I can live without Uncharted and already finished Bloodborne. I also have an Xbone for a few others that don't make it to PC.
Ratchet and clank
Red Dead Redemption 2? I mean, it should turn up on PC, but GTA V didn't turn up for x years, and Redemption 1 hasn't turned up on PC at all...Meh, enjoyed the last one I played but again, I can live without it. In fact, aside from the yearly football releases and Dark Souls I think I can live without everything.

Maybe Rockstar will have sorted their stuff out and do a simultaneous launch.
But then again, maybe it wont turn up for another x years anyway
Ah, that changes everything. Now Red Dead Redemption 2 I couldn't live without... but I do have an Xbone and can't imagine it being PS4 exclusive.

I have the following for PS4:
Last of Us
GTA V
Fallout 4
MGS 5
Dark Souls 2
Dark Souls 3
Bloodborne ( )
Dying Light
Arkham Knight
Surely I would fetch a hefty sum?
All my Xbone games are digital though, so i'd lose a lot more if I didn't have it. I'm tempted to just keep everything and wait a little longer for the PC.

I just bought some cheap £15 ones on amazon. No idea if they are good yet as I got ejected from the Rocket league competitionany recommendations on which headsets? I currently have Tritton Kunai but they are on their way out and need to replace them before they do break.
Whatever GPU they use will surely be from AMD? Off topic but the 1080 and 1070 look amazing for the price. With NVidia's announcement of the new line of graphics cards, you can see why Sony are going for the upgrade I guess.
The fact is, all consoles are massively behind the times. Will the updated PS4 GPU even be a sniff on the GTX 1080?
