Completed Thief earlier this week, that is some game to give to PS+ subscribers, really enjoyed it. Just started to play the definitive edition of Sleeping Dogs, picked it up for £20. Not a bad game either, going to go for the platinum after getting three of them in the past six months. I'm starting to become a bit of a trophy whore.

It's all tighter than fish pussy as far as I'm concerned, not all the way through yet but can't argue with it for free.
Haha, that's a new one. Think I'll give it a crack. Yeah, the games that they offer are worth the brass. Games I wouldn't have played otherwise, such as this and The Swapper last month etc.

I got MLB 2014, such a good game to play. What annoyed me and made me stop playing was I made the Major League in career mode and although I had the highest average I became someone who would bat when people were getting tired or in innings 10 etc. Even then I still had the highest average, after 10/15 games of that situation I gave up on it.
Yeah career mode has always been like that, they make you slog/sim through the minors for a bit too long to make it interesting despite you hitting for high average/power. By the time you get to the majors you get bored with it.
Thankfully one of the new features of 15 is progression based on stats, so that should be a thing of the past hopefully.

Yes! Cant wait for the order. Try not to spoil yourself apparently theres alot of nice surprises we havent been shown. Ready at dawn have been super careful about not showing too much.
I think I'm going to wait a couple of months before playing it. Not worth £50 in my eyes. It does look good but I'm not paying £50 for a game is 8/9 hours long.

TLOU took me betwen 17 and 18 hours, I reckon the Order will be in the reigion of 12-14 for me if 10 is the average, I like to walk around at a normal walking pace when appropriate in these kinds of atmospheric 3rd person games and behave like someone would in real life and fully explore every nook and cranny in levels, one thing I noticed when watching people play TLOU is that the majority run everywhere which I find a bit annoying, even more annoying is when they just make a bee line to wherever the game is directing them to move on to the next section in areas with obvious exploration opportunities.
The Order is going to be the benchmark for graphics on the PS4 for a decent spell I think, the level of detail is very impressive, it might take Uncharted 4 to topple it which is high praise for a dev making its first big title. If the story/gameplay holds up its going to be a bloody good game.
That being said, I'm not buying it right away. Wait and see on reviews and user impressions and I'll probably wait for a price drop too, I've far too many games in my backlog as it is so I've gotta start chopping that down to size.

Tomb Raider, Wolfenstein ?
Already got Tomb Raider, Wolfenstein isn't a bad shout.
This month I've been playing Driveclub, Alien Isolation and Pro Evo 2015 mostly, still have far cry 4 to finish too but I think FPS games are wearing thin on me recently so finding it hard to give it gaming time as good as it is. Also playing Valiant Hearts (a brilliant little game about Ww1) recently. Still have the walking dead ep 1 to play and I I really wanna try out transistor too but every things getting put on hold for the Order 1886

Pro evo is very good this year, I know it's a yearly mantra (being a Liverpool fan I know all about lots of false dawns 
) but this year it's back to the good gameplay of the pro evo everyone loved. I'm not much of an online player to be honest I usually play become a legend (I love this mode) or master league but it's a really good game this time round and if you used to play pro and dont mind either fake kits or spending some kit editing time the definitely give it a go, I've tried to get into FIFA for the past three years due to peer pressure from mates who've switched to FIFA a year or two ago now but I just can't seem to enjoy the gameplay and get bored of it too quickly.Oh that explains it then, keep playing man, you're in for a hell of a ride!

Same as me strangely enough, I played a bit, and tbh enjoyed it, turned it off to do something else, and just never went back to it.
Wolfenstein is a cracker. Not even a major fan of FPS games, but had a lot of fun with that.

Last PES I think I played was PES 2005 and it was one of the best footy games I have played. I might get if it's on discount or on craiglist.
You cannot go wrong with PES 2015. Fantastic football game.
I was also like that. When I first played, I played it up to capitol building part then didn't play for 4-5 months. Played again, got so much in story and characters that I didn't stop until the end.
Now, I'm playing tlou factions, which I think is very underrated. very enjoyable and intense mp.

There's some walk-throughs on Youtube where they have got the platinum trophy in a single 10/11 hour play-through. Looks a stunning game and a definite must to play but not worth the £50 outlay IMO. It depends how you are with games, I can easily wait for 6/12 months for a definitive edition which I probably will do.
Yeah most probably I will also hold up. Will wait for reviews and I have huge backlog of games left to play anyway.

If you can get a platinum in 11 hours, it probably means the game for most will only be 4-5 hours long

6.5 gameplay, 4.5 hour cut scene. I don't mind that in terms of the actual whole package, that is why it isn't worth 50 buns though.
TLOU can be finished in 3 hours and 30 minutes. Don't start judging the game before even it's released. Let the game come out and then judge for yourself.

Sorry, 6.5 hours of game-play isn't worth £50. Doubt anyone did a speed run of the last of us in that time on their first crack at it. Why is it cynicism to state that something isn't worth the retail price? If I see a pair of jeans and say they aren't worth £100 is that being a cynic? No, it is just looking at the bang for your buck. The game is all over Youtube etc, it is out there to judge.
The embargo Is up 2 days before release, that's a good sign and the devs released a statement saying the 5 hour thing is bullshit. Guess we will see what the reviews say on Wednesday I'm guessing it will score between 8-9.
