Ya it started with COD and has just spread to other shooters now. Ya I appreciate that it can vary from genre to genre but the only online gaming that I've ever enjoyed has been sports related and almost exclusively Fifa.
Alien Isolation is now £20 on PS Store. Already downloading for me, I've been meaning to buy it for ages but dithered.
I am picking Dying Light later today or tomorrow. It's getting good reviews from gamers and looking at trailers it's very interesting.

One of my friends spoke highly of Dying Light. Said it's actually a good zombie game.
Really wanna pick up episode two of Game of Thrones! But I've too much shit to do and only one hand that is functioning! 
Dead Island was a solid game with its glitches, Dying Light appears to be building on that with some good tweaks. It's supposed to be very long too and I like the setting. Apparently gets very tense at night.

Dying light is getting good reviews from gamers.
Portals have given it mixed reviews but Techland have never been known to co-operate with reviewers and they refused to send review copies this year which probably brought all scores down by 10% compared to what EA or Ubisoft would get.
Played DL for about an hour now. Mixed feelings so far, didn't really drag me in so much that I wouldn't get off the console but I imagine that the game gets a lot more competitive/fun in latter stages when you're able to craft some wicked weapons and all that shit.

So I'm still not bored from playing GTA 5 but when I do get bored I might have to get the PSN - I don't have it yet. Are you able to buy cheap games through the PSN as well or is multiplayer the only advantage?
You get two free PS4 games every month and they're becoming better now, you have some extra discounts too but not far from what you get normally.
Yeah I'm going to pick it up for this reason I think. Reviews have been mixed but I've heard nothing but good things from those that have played it.

There is a PSN members section and it will list the games and discounts for the month there. You just select the game which is free and download it. You will be able to play the game until you stop paying for your PSN account - even when the game is off of the offers section.
You pay for PS Plus and you're able to download two games a month from PS Store (also 2 games for PS Vita and 2 for PS3, you don't need to have these consoles - you can buy them on your account and download them to your console when you have them in the future for instance). Good value and some games are top quality (this month you get Transistor and Rogue Legacy for instance, two cracking games).

I downloaded Transistor as the free PSN game of February, and then a few minutes later I bought Infamous: Second Son which was on sale.
Then something weird happened and now when I boot up my console, I've got two Transistor icons on my game list. One for Transistor and one for Infamous. Does that make sense? I can still play Infamous - and it is Infamous, but it has Transistor's icon instead of an Infamous icon. Very strange. Anyone experienced that before or heard of a solution?

Turn off your PS4. Turn it back on with the button on the console itself and hold it down until it beeps again, then when you get to the options in that choose "Rebuild Database" and let it finish that, reboot and it should be fixed.
Cool, thanks. Just to be safe, "Rebuild Database" sounds kind of formatting esque, I'm not going to lose any data, right?

Doesn't delete anything, think of it as a system refresh. If you run into any sort of OS issue its the first thing you should try as its a quick simple thing to do.

I spent my money on GTA this month though so I'll wait another month to get the PSN thing.
Did you get the 14 day trial off the store yet? If not you should because then you can claim this months 6 games (you get 2 for each platform, this month its actually 3 PS4 games because of crossplay).
Just remember to turn off the auto-renew in settings.

I have a similar issu. Injustice has the Trials Fusion icon. I've just ignored it but the rebuild probably will fix it thinking about it.

Transistor is a great little game, I'm impressed with the DS4 speaker on this as well they make good use of it.
