Thanks Lance I might try out Wolfenstein. What are people's thoughts on the exclusives out at the moment? Is Infamous the best of them?

I thought Infamous was a let down. Looks great, but repetitive side missions and it's quite short overall. I traded it. And I never trade really good games.

For the first time since launch I finally feel my PS4 will get some usage with the Destiny beta, TLOU and Diablo 3 coming in a few weeks I'm quite excited.
I'm going to buy one of these. Is there a time when the prices usually drop or should I just go ahead and buy it? Are there any good bundles or anything?
Destiny bundle in September if you want a white one. Wouldn't expect a price drop anytime soon though, if your ready go get one.
I think the inFamous bundle offers best value but don't hold me on that, there may be a Last of Us one coming too.
Don't care about color or any of that. I've also never owned a playstation, switching from xbox. Is there anything I need to know?
The Destiny bundle is out in September with the white edition PS4 if you prefer that to the black version.

Not really, pretty much all works the same way.
Not really. It's not like last gen with the different models to be wary of, every bundle has the same console inside.
PS+ is required for online multiplayer now, but you can subscribe to that when you set the console up.
Are those 1080p, 60fps circles?
Shopto are selling them on ebay for £299.99 which I think is decent. That's where I just ordered one.
Ye I expect so as I love playing shooters on an Xbox. Will have to try the beta and see what it's actually like. I can't see myself playing a lot of the pvp multiplayer from what I've seen but the co-op looks decent.Anyone here have any PS+ trial codes they dont mind sharing. Literally just need a 7 day one to try the destiny beta.
Nothing carries over from the beta, so you could create a new account and use the fortnight of free ps+

Very tempted to buy a PS4 tonight, but not sure what games I would fancy right now. Got BF4 on PC and Fifa14 on Xbox.

So I just found out that I can't transfer videos from my PC to the PS4 via a USB stick like I could with my PS3. WTF?!
Welcome to next gen. It's absolutely infuriating.
FIFA 14, Watch Dogs is VERY good and there's tonnes of free games if you're PS+ (although I think the old ones disappear from marketplace after a while)

The reason is bringing down the cost of the PS3, which is in historical terms still an expensive item for its age. There is a newly shrunk Cell and RSX combo in the works. The PS4 will not get the features that the PS3 has until a price drop. As can be seen now, PS3 sales have dropped off the cliff, Sony still want to sell it, but they will never be able to sell it if the PS4 does everything it can when at its current pricepoint. The plan is to drop the price of both, but the new model of the PS3 has to come first.
It's as simple as that.

Trouble is, all of those newer revision chips are going into Gaikai (Playstation Now) servers. PS3s are still using chips of the old node.
I'm thinking of getting a PS4 before the end of the year. Would it be worth holding off until the new model comes out with the added features? What sort of features are they exactly?
Said features will be patched in, an actual new model PS4 is a long way off.

I don't think I'll wait that long. Some decent games out at the end of this year so I think I'll take the plunge then even though I still have plenty of PS3 games to play.
