It definitely isnt MS goggles, I have no problem saying PS4 games look better generally.. horizon is open world so it shouldn't look as good.
However, it could be bias, perhaps it's a case of me feeling Drive Club captured me with buzzwords but has since failed to convince me whereas I'm totally behind everything about Horizon. Driveclub is closed track whereas in Horizon I'm looking at the draw distance or the landscape and knowing I could drive there if I wanted.. off road or on. Again, perhaps its a little like Ryse vs Infamous..
It's what a next gem racer should be. Track AI are full of drivatars which race like real people not monotonous boring steady drivers who stick to the lines. Those drivatars are also in the real world.. youre not just racing against them in events but have these lifelike ai driving around the cities and countryside. The ability to be progressing your single player driving through the open world and press a button and within 2 seconds youre still where you, in the same car, you never stopped driving but now youre online? It's great. Weather, night/day and rumble triggers are huge bonuses too.
