What are Media Molecule working on?I can't be certain on the price, it might be $329 or $299 as I told Leg-End. I think it will be $299 so 279 in quids. You shouldn't feel cheated by that.

That list posted was fake, don't pay any attention to it. I've already told Alock in one of these threads, expect a full blown Ratchet & Clank for starters. Yep, the main team at Insomniac are not on Sunset Overdirve. There is a R&C movie due for release next year and there is a game to go with it. E3 finally shows the Sony big guns. Don't expect GT7, there is a VITA title first, ok, you'll all get a taster in December. GT7 is 2016. I'll tell you one thing though, The Order is not Sony's main game for Christmas.

If it happens again then I will. I had a quick look on google and apparently dust can mess about with the power button etc. I hadn't used it for a while so I cleaned it up and it seems fine now. I'll see how it goes.

I agree, I didn't play the new one cause I retired my PS3 but it got rated for Vita a while back.
It's just not something that would get me excited on PS4.

I'll clarify this a little. PS4 GPU in PC terms is middle of the road, however, it can be hit directly or close to directly as the developers know what it is, unlike the PC space. I think those rumours are more concerned with what is happening at Naughty Dog who do hit the hardware directly. All the 3rd party stuff we are seeing are mainly ports, so it's PC code transferred over. What Naughty Dog are doing with it is on a different level.
I don't care that Castia thinks that Driveclub is an aliased mess, it's not, it's high-contrast sub-pixel specular aliasing than only resolution can properly fix and PS4 is never going to output that type of game at 4k or above. Not impressed with Driveclub myself due to it being 30fps, but they have used motion blur well and apart from the frame-rate it's quite a technical achievement, very nice to look at as well. The lighting is phenomenal.
Project Dark was the working title for Dark Souls. You mean Project Beast, which might be a Souls entry. If it's even a game at all.
Sony could if they want give Ratchet and Clank to anyone, they own the IP as they do with Jak (Naughty Dog tried this and it didn't work). Insomniac however are the Ratchet & Clank developer.
Just because things are smaller titles doesn't mean that they are bad, it's just that they are not $20m plus games. Sony funding generally goes like this.... Polyphony Digital, Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, Guerilla, the rest.
Demons Souls you say? Sony Japan have upped their game as you will see.

I think Drive Club looks good, not really sure why all the complaints about it. The 30fps shouldn't be an issue - it's not a sim.
The only thing for me is that I don't know where it fits, what the hook is etc. It's not a sim, so games will drive better. It hasn't got crazy boosts or cop chases (NFS), weapons (Blur) or an open world (Horizon) to compensate. It reminds me of Grid 2 which is a really competent racer - it just felt a little shallow? Not in lack of content but context, if that makes sense?
I was really excited about it at the PS4 event reveal, basically I was fooled by all those buzz words for the online integration but it turns out it's just 'compare your time on this race to your friends', 'can you take bend 4 quicker than your friends', 'all the xp you get goes into a pot with your friends xp'.
It was at night though I think, so the specular aliasing (to do with lighting) can't really be dealt with. There is no real technique to deal with it.
What I take from it is an unreal sense of speed, even at 30fps. GT would never look like that.

Love the way the lights reflect in the side of the car as he passes. Simple things can sometimes be the best. I've never seen that type of effect in a game before?
Yeah it does look good, I liked NFS Shift and this looks like it's going to be similarly in the middle ground between Sim and Arcade. I'll get my Sim fix from Project Cars and hopefully there is a Midnight Club in the works (@WeasteDevil?) for my Arcade fix. When are they going to release some more steering wheels?
'Transistor' is now available on PSN and its getting great reviews. All the major gaming sites rating it at the least 8/10 with most going with 9's.
Transistor looks amazing! Such a unique game. I'm loving what the indie guys are doing with PS4, they're pretty much keeping it alive.
