Gaming PlayStation 4 (Console)

I see you're looking at the racing game genre as a motorsport fan. I'll level with you, I enjoy the gameplay but not because of an overt interest in the thing outside of the actual challenge before me. I don't watch F1 because of the drone and I've never had that Top Gear rush from the sound of an engine in real life.

I enjoy racing games but not racing, if that makes sense?
Yeah, I'm the same...

Today, at 8.00pm GMT/9:00pm BST/10.00pm CET, tune in for a sneak peek at new gameplay from an upcoming PS4 title.Blink and you’ll miss it. Don’t be late!

The Order 1886 apparently. That is a game that interests me.

Yeah that really was a blink and miss it thing, stream quality was terrible too.

Those particles though.

I don't know who the first guy is. Shinobi is some ex Neogaf user who used to make a shit load of threads and was pretty trusted and considered some sort of itk or something.

I dunno, no idea if it's true or just bullshit. It's not really anything to go off.. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=825703

There's the thread for anyone who has any interest.

Inevitable! Everything gets delayed these days. I don't think anything will ever release on time for the ps4, well not the big games anyway

E3 could just be people announcing delays for everything at this rate. Could be the worst e3 ever.

Well its not like it actually had a release date is it? They mentioned 2014 ages ago I guess, end of the day its probably only a 3 month delay from its actual original date.

February just got expensive though, The Order 1886 and The Witcher 3.

If the games better for it then so be it...

There is something else pushed back to dev too iirc. So basically, none of us are going to see the outside world in February.

Have they confirmed if there will be multiplayer or not yet?

From the little we've seen it looks like it'd suit it, but not every game needs it and sometimes you worry whether it detracts from the story.

It surprised me because I thought they had said quite recently 2014, at like GDC or something.

Not being the main game isn't the same as saying it's been delayed though Weaste.

I would expect them to have something else to show at E3, whether Order was moved or not to be honest.

Hope it's Last Guardian. SotC was criminally underrated in that greatest games of all time list on here.

It was bigged up as being a big AAA title, I told you a fortnight ago that it was not the game - because it isn't being released this year. Do you expect Sony to release two AAA titles in that period?

Will be fun when you all find out what is Sony's AAA game for release in the late Autumn.

Uncharted 4, TLOU 2? Not sure I particularly care for either yet. The Last Guardian would make me buy a PS4 ready for release I'm sure.

Though I dunno if that's actually seen as a big deal? Did SotC even sell well? It's a brilliant game, but I dunno if people are crying out for it.

Weaste thinks it's Titanfall.

Not a chance.

Good. TLG would be great. It feels like everyone wants that game but I don't feel like the rest of the series get spoken about enough, weird. I think it's just the bubble of gaming on the internet where the masses aren't really represented. I wonder how it'd sell. Would love it personally.

I seen a gameplay video and it didn't look anything special, it even had the dreaded QTE'S.

I thought the same mate, it looked generic but I guess you can't really tell from just a few minutes of gameplay cut straight from the middle of a campaign - TLOU could look just as boring when viewed that way. The concept of futuristic weapons in a historical setting is very cool though. Interested to see more - solid but generic gameplay could easily be enough for a fantastic game if they nail the other aspects.

Why do people moan about QTE's? Has everyone forgotten the complete awesomeness of shenmue? :/

Hmmm scea you say weaste?

I suppose your right in that you can't really judge of a few minute game play video but it was just my initial impression i got when watching it. The graphics look great and the setting as you say is very interesting so hopefully they nail that part of the game.

feck it, lets go through this:

Early Autumn is Driveclub, they then have a space to fill, and yes you will see it at E3. The Order was moved to early Spring some time ago. TLOU remaster is the summer filler.

Will be fun when you all find out what is Sony's AAA game for release in the late Autumn.

So a AAA game, not called Driveclub, due out this Fall.

It isn't difficult to work out when you look at the studios that Sony has.

Two games for the Christmas period, one from SCEE and one from SCEJ. There is nothing from SCEA for this year.

Ok, a AAA game not called Driveclub, due out this Fall, not made by SCEE or SCEA and thus made (or published) under SCEJ.

Best guesses from all that:

The Last Guardian (Team Ico)
From Software game "Project Beast"

Anywhere near the mark Weaste?

I thought he meant those 2 studios already had obvious games coming out, but scea hadn't made any noise over anything so they're going to surprise us?

Which would appeal the most? Demon/Dark Souls sold much better I expect than Ico and SotC, but Dark Souls 2 did just come out.

Unless Project Beast is completely unrelated to Demon/Dark Souls I guess we don't know yet.
