GAF has a shitstorm going on about a rumour called "Project Beast" by FROM software and SCEJ. They have massed around 2500 posts in 4 hours on it. This is not normal! It's like a CAF matchday thread over a rumour. Whatever you say about that place it probably is the go-to forum for the enthusiast gamer, and the industry does take note of what they sometimes say.
Like them, I'm hoping it's Demon's Souls 2. The team that made it, and Dark Souls were pretty much completely absent from Dark Souls 2. Hopefully, this is what they have been working on.

It's the best source, I got ripped by Redlambs for saying this ages ago but it's true.
There are so many of them on there, from all over the place, who are always scouting the internet/twitter for the latest gaming news so they can be the first to break it. It's rare you'll see game news anywhere and it not already be on the GAF.
I'm not saying that their own responses to news is good, or that they know what they're talking about. But it's probably the best networking source for gaming. You see other sites refer to it fairly often infact.
It's good for finding news before any other sites, but for actual discussions about games it's shite and is the last place I'd go.

Ok, but why then would a Sony funded game need FROM software if everyone that made Demon's Souls has fecked off and Sony own that IP? Unless those people stayed at FROM in some contractual capacity but simply didn't work on Dark Souls 2.
As far as I know they are all still with FROM. They just didn't work on DS2.
Sony fecked up big with the origins of the Souls franchise. They didn't even publish Demons outside of Japan themselves.

Enjoying Trials and Rayman Legends on it. I'll probably pick up Second Son when it gets cheaper too.

I had 1000 appearances last year.
This year I've had a few issues in my life and catching up on a backlog of games, but I'll come on at some point in the next few weeks. When all is well and I don't have stuff going on, Big-Red, haroon, Makki et al can confirm I'm on most nights which was the case last year.
