Sterling left out of the Chelsea squad, releases a statement:

Some chelsea fans are saying it's a club decision and not a managerial one. The club are trying to pressure him out of his awful contract. THREE years is a lot of time left. Would be funny if he negotiates a big buyout

What the actual feck is this

All those names as your "depth" and somehow Enzo is your captain.... surely should be Colwill as backup to James?

Are Chelsea planning to move on Petrovic. He replaced Sanchez last season, and it looks like he's the one off

It absolutely was controversial. There wasn't even a foul. I haven't seen anyone who thinks the decision was correct.
If two players are grappling each other in the box doesn’t the ref usually stop play to have the FK retaken?

Sometimes they do, if it's egregious. The ref didn't do this though. He blew up early for a free against the attacker when no clear foul occured. If he hadn't blown the whistle VAR would have cleared that up and the goal would likely have stood.

There was no reason to blow the whistle at all.

The way Chelsea seemingly treat their players is pretty awful. Broja, Gallagher, Chaboloah etc forced to train separately and ostracised because they’re suddenly deemed surplus to requirements and the club is wants to force them out. Now this with Sterling, and I suspect the same will happen with Chilwell.

It’s becoming a circus.

How are you going to keep 75 players happy? The situation is ridiculous.

I should be wanting City to lose, but there's a part of me that wants them to smash Chelsea

Okay that makes sense I think I misunderstood. I wasn’t really paying attention so I thought that’s what he blew for (too much grappling)
