PL Gameweek 1 | 16/08/24 - 19/08/24

He will definitely cost and arm and leg
Yea no doubt Palace will try and fleece us. They are demanding 70m for Guehi, they'll demand higher if United are the interested club.
Agreed, he looks a tremendous talent, offers a highly rounded game already, driving Palace back into this game.
Very good technique and doesn't look bad physically as well. We should be there trying our hardest for him as I'm sure City will try to get him when they eventually look for a Rodri backup.

Unfortunately he will be everybody’s midfield target next summer.
I'm not sure everyone will as Chelsea and Arsenal already have their midfield pretty much set and Tottenham have brought another talent from the Championship in Gray but City and Liverpool would definitely be targeting him in my view. We need to be there convincing him to join us with our project.

Happy for Will Hughes, ended up being a decent epl midfielder, showed promise at a young age in Derby

Howard Webb and his army of VAR officials will be happy to explain that one away. Shit decision.

I bet the shitty refs on TV will say this

"It's one of those where it could have gone either way. Once the ref decides, you have to stick with it". (Cuz that's what matters, backing the ref, not getting things right)

Incredible defending by Palace

and people was jumping on the Glasner bandwagon last season to early. Like always manager bounces don’t always last.

Palace really need attackers, Edouard and Ayew are proper dog shite

They've been the better side today by far. Referee fecked it for them with the first half Eze goal and they've missed good chances.

People were jumping on it 15 minutes ago, never mind last season

Sterling left out of the Chelsea squad, releases a statement:

"Raheem Sterling is contracted to Chelsea Football Club for the next three years," it reads.

"He returned to England two weeks early to conduct individual training, and has had a positive pre-season under the new coach, who he has developed a good working relationship with.

"He is committed, as ever, to delivering at the highest level for Chelsea FC and the fans, who he holds in high regard, and given his inclusion in official club pre-match material this week, our expectation was that Raheem would be involved in this weekend’s fixture in some capacity.

"As a camp, we have always had positive dialogue with, and assurance from, Chelsea FC in relation to Raheem’s future at the club, so we look forward to gaining clarity on the situation.

"Until then, we will continue to support Raheem’s desire to start the new season positively."

first game of the season for the cheats who have ruined the premier league. Hopefully it will be their first in a season where they have a minus 70 points total.

Good games this, very even. Palace didn't deserve to lose this way, to be honest.

Sterling left out of the Chelsea squad, releases a statement:

Wait, this is Sterling’s agency releasing this statement? Mad that they feel the need to do this. He has been linked with Juventus in recent weeks, so maybe it’s a reaction to that? Who knows. Quite odd.

How pathetic from Sterling to release a statement just because he isn’t in the squad.

Gutted to not see Bobb start after his injury. He would have been a amazing talent to steal from City when they get relegated later in the season

Are they gonna talk about Eze’s disallowed goal for the next week or some shit fecking hell. It wasn’t even that controversial of a decision
