Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang| ESPN: Move to PSG very close

Strong rumours about him going to Milan. PSG earlier and now Milan seem to be the only 2 genuine contenders so far.
I don't know why would he go to Milan. Juve dominates that league. At least with EPL is not clear cut.

I think the talk of his finishing being off is not as ridiculous as it sounds given his final output of almost a goal/game. He has missed some very easy chances, and he's had the benefit of a Dembele feeding him some easy goals. He hasn't impressed me in 1v1 situation and I wouldn't go over 50M for a guy like Auba. If he's available around that price though, then I think he'd be a solid pick-up.
What?

He has 78 goals in 94 appearances over the last two seasons. That puts him in elite company in Europe's top goalscorers. 50m GBP for him would be a bargain.

Bizarre that we're not in for him.

It would be bizarre if we were. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of his, but he's not a Mourinho forward. Jose obviously likes to have a powerful forward, at least for the English game. Auba is nothing like Drogba or Costa in terms of playing style, plus his attitude is questionable. He's not the sort of guy that Mourinho warms to.

Milan will sign both Auba and Moratta?? I doubt it. But if it is true then boy they really mean business.

He does not have an attitude problem.

Know him well, do you? He's just reportedly told his club that he wants to leave. That is a questionable attitude in my book.
I know him very well. In 4 years in Dortmund, he never had any problems. Everybody in the team knew that Auba will leave at the end of this season.

Thought he was Madrid-bound? Been talking about Real every summer.

Morata could go to Chelsea too if Lukaku stays. So far they have been linked with both.

I'll be shocked if he goes to Milan.

Me too, but they have the money now and are ready to spend it. fact is he wants out and only 2 clubs were mentioned so far in the rumour mill.

New project. He also was at Milan when he was a youngster, so maybe he is still attached to them and wants a challenge with them spending big.

It will be hard for them to sign even one. The FFP doesnt give them much room unless they sell Donna. I expect Milan to be signing bargains from lower serie A clubs and lower leagues.

It's always seemed obvious that he wants to go to Real. However, they've always been happy with Benzema and there's been no real sign that they would actually go for him. With him turning 28 next month he probably figures it's time to move to one of the other top clubs.

[@SPORT1]

Watzke is quoted saying that they will discuss things with him after the cup final, which may be his last game for Dortmund, but doesn't have to be. Bild also put his price tag around €85m.

85m Euros? That is a bargain in this day and age.

Woody, get that floppy haired cnut asap!

After watching all of his goals from this season I'm now convinced he would be a huge success given Mourinhos counter attacking style. Hopefully he's handed in the transfer request to sign for us... Ibra would need to go but Aubameyang and Rashford as the centre forward options sounds good for next season.

Maybe drop a cheeky Martial plus cash offer for Aubameyang and Dembele.

Seen him miss some absolute sitters. Bad impression. Might not want.

I don't know, he is getting a bit older for new project, IMO.

Is this fabricated, or do you not consider this a 'questionable attitude?'

As the other poster mentioned, this is a very insignificant incident. One day trip to Milan and one game suspension. He was in the stands for that game and he made it up to Tuchel.

He is a positive guy. He is not a dirty player, not a destructive force in the locker room. After horrible 14/15 season, he actually extended his contract without a clause in place.

Seems like Milan are in for Morata around 60 mil.

Auba does not have many choices now. United or Chelsea, if Lukaku stays at Everton.

Would love him here. Him, Griezmann, a solid defensive midfielder and CB.

The same here. That would be title and CL title contesting team. If Martial is still out of form, Rashford can do a left wing.

85m for a 28 year old player is not a bargain.

I agree that it's not a bargain, but it's still a fair price considering his skill level and goal ratio. He's in his prime and might very well have 4-5 years left on the highest level. He might also just have 1 or 2. It's impossible to know, really.

Right now we need instant success. A player like Aubameyang can provide that.

I think its safe to say we won't be paying 85M for a player who might give us two years service. If he was the best in the world maybe..

We'd be looking at atleast 3 top class years before age starts to catch up with him and if he has a disciplined lifestyle possibly two more. Given what we stand to benefit financially from instant success I would say it will be worth it. The only challenge, for me, is looking at our other needs signing him and Griezmann easily takes up 80% of our rumoured transfer budget and we still need that DM, RW and LB!

I watched that video and was underwhelmed. A lot of his goals he's just converting moves inside the box or being a poacher. Is there anything more to his game?

They aren't the perfect players, but zlatan, van persie, berbatov and Rooney could score out of nothing - can this guy do that?

Don't him and Mkhitaryan have a great on pitch understanding ? If Zlatan doesn't stay and we sign a striker I'd much rather a pacey striker as it'll bring the best out the wide players, the 10 if we play with one and the midfielders as seen with Rashford but Rashford isn't yet clinical enough to be first choice.

Their on pitch understanding is really good and they seem to be friends, at all.
Aubameyang is a great player, he is very fast and speaks many languages (Spanish, French, Italian etc.), so I think that he could easily have a good relationship with everybody at Man United.
But I wouldn't pay 85m for him, because his goals aren't that difficult to score, he nearly only scores tap-ins, which are created by great players such as Mkhitaryan, Reus or Dembele.
It also seems to be fixed that he will sign for PSG and I think that he would never go to Manchester, because of the life, there. He is the type of guy, who is always laughing, likes sun, and has a strong connection to all his friends and family, who live in France or want to live in France, again.

You write that Rashford isn't clinical, but imho he is more clinical than Aubameyang, who misses many big chances, he could have easily scored 40 goals this season.
I personally would rather go for Lukaku/Kane/Morata than for Auba, because they would cost more or less the same amount of money and they are younger, and they also seem to be more realistic, even if Levy is that hard in negotiation as expected :D
