Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang| ESPN: Move to PSG very close

Don't think this is true. Basically everything that @Sphaero says. Doesn't make sense for any party. For Dortmund perspective, look at his posts. Aubamayeng himself... Didn't he only ever mention he would leave for Madrid or Barca, but nobody else? Dortmund is a better side then City at the moment, though I guess there is more money for him elsewhere.

As for City, it wouldn't even be a good deal. They would need a world record bid basically, for a player who won't fit in to Guardiola's system, in a team that already has a better striker for a manager who only plays with 1 striker. If he plans on using him on the right, then that would just be a huge waste because he isn't that good out wide. He's is an excellent poacher, but not as good as Aguero so it's just a pointless signing if this is true in any way. Which I don't think it is.

If it's €80m I don't understand why Real are not interested, he would be perfect for them.

Keep clutching mate.

60 million pounds is actually the right kind of price for him. It's still expensive but then everyone is. PEA will suit the PL and could be worrying if he clicks like the past season.

£ $ for 2 parties

Why do people keep mentioning Sterling with the likes of Aguero, Aubameyang and KDB? Sterling is shite.
Talking rubbish, give him some time under a good manager who can actually develop him. He's only 21 and has already racked up 126 PL appearances for good sides, that just doesn't happen when you're shite.

Am I the only one thinks Dortmund will tell City to feck off?

City need to sort their defence out, not their striking options, doesnt make much difference if they don't sort that out first.

It makes sense for him to leave now, he turns 27 soon, it's time for him to win something and it's not going to be at Dortmund anytime soon.

Signing Laporte, Denayer will be given a chance under Pep, linked with Stones. The defence will be reinforced 100%.

He's very good but City will probably pay £80m or so and Dortmund will get even more money to build a better team. He'll be good in Premier League but I still don't think he's an elite player.

Do you think Pep will suddenly change to a 2 striker formation? He isnt worth signing if it isnt up top, and aguero is better. So why spend £70m or more even on a player who can only play where your best player can play?

Tolmie says he was at City's facilities today. News broke on blue moon in morning from solid sources

Maybe Aguero won't be there, tbh also his injuries this season, I wouldn't trust him tbh. I also think you are underrating Abu

To be fair he is just the Bundesliga's answer to Jamie Vardy.

And Vardy is Prem proven ergo better.

No no no, I'm still in denial

Ahhhhhh!, shitty have/may have, will/will not sign Aubameyang, man! people are having bloody heart attacks all over the place on here, he seems good, haven't seen a massive amount if I'm honest but the fecker will be signing for Madrid next year just like his grandad or whoever wanted, yes if they sign who the press are saying they are going to sign, on paper they'll look strong but they looked strong this season then Leicester went and pissed on everyone's parade.

Well if they're replacing Aguero with Aubameyang it's an expensive step down. I refuse to be terribly afraid of them because of this signing but at the same time I'm not suprised with all the panic here - for some reason City have become the new Caf darlings in that they are overrated beyod belief and everyone seems to think they're amazing. It was unbearable at the beginning of last season.

Ermmm they had Pellegrini...

I think a lot of people just think Aubameyang is very good and well suited to the league. Apart from Aguero there isn't a better striker in the PL, and this one can apparently stay fit all season.

Feck me, is this actually happening? Dortmund what are you doing man?!

Simon Mullock - Daily Mirror saying City are denying the reports and are mystified where they have come from.

Mullock is generally reliable on City

Aubamayeng is a class player, not saying he isn't, just that he isn't as good as Aguero. The injuries are a fair point, but I reckon Pep will make him the main man for him because he is more suited to Pep's style then Aubamayeng. And if they let him go, then Aubamayeng is a downgrade on Aguero anyway so I wouldn't be too worried. Dortmund did play a much more patient build up game with Tuchel then with Klopp, so Auba would have experience in a possession game, but it still isn't to the same extent as Pep's style, which I just don't think Auba would be best for.

Now if he was someone we were going for, then it would make a lot more sense then City considering we will likely adapt to a more counter attacking/direct approach, while City will be more possession obsessed with Pep.
