'Pep' Guardiola sack watch

they couldnt ask for a better fixture than united at the minute sadly. think they'll put us away soundly and that will lift things.

United are the type of team that have the quality to beat them in their day. They did it in the cup final, and have to believe they can take this City team at the moment.

It’s not the fixture it has been in previous years. Another week of training and there has to be belief. If Spurs can do there and win 4-0, United can certainly get a result.

Bluemoon really will impload if we beat City on Sunday but while City are crap and we should be able to beat them I cant see it happening as its their cup final so they'll probably turn up and put in their best percormance of the season.

i want to believe this, but watching us find new, mind bending ways of conceding all 3 shots on target at the weekend has convinced me we're all but cursed. I'd absolutely love it of course, but if I was a city fan Id be very happy to have united at home, over countless other possible fixtures this weekend.

Putting us away soundly (which I'm definitely not betting against) won't fix their fundamental problems.

The bad thing is Rico is suspended for our match... Hopefully we won't be their bounce back team.
P.s Pep is cocaine addict I guess

I could see that game ending in a draw or a narrow United win tbh.

no, but this particularly awful run wont continue. none of it matters anyway - everything to do with city exists in the shadow of the punishment pending. if its a minor thing, its better for them than any trophy.

Agree with that, but even if their form picks up slightly that won't get them to the levels they are used to or that are required to win the League or CL. This is not a wobble that they can fix and then go into a 15 game winning streak, in my opinion. That is unless Rodri makes a miraculous recovery.

There’s gonna be some freaky behaviour coming out that mad fecker tonight

Very very low chances of them putting anything away soundly.

Unless Haaland suddenly finds form and poaches a couple of goals in the 6 yard box, it's inexcusable to lose this game. Even with a new manager and with our average squad.

Their midfield doesn't even want to track back anymore. In the last few games, they've been running around just so they're not caught standing absolutely still.

Apparently he's said that once he leaves City he won't manage any more club teams.

Be interesting to see what happens if he decides to manage an international team. Not sure how he'll cope not being able to spend billions on the best players around anymore.

Party pooper here, but while there can be some mild enjoyment seeing them drop points - win lose or draw, absolutely nothing matters until this cheating team is punished properly. If they get a slap on the wrist it will be better for them than winning the treble. I dont take huge satisfaction seeing them struggle the way I would with actual rival, this filthy club needs to be punished properly before any celebration.
100%
Don’t care if they win things either. Them being properly punished is really all that matters. But good to have a giggle while we wait.

It's delicious to savor isn't it?
Oh yes. I've hated him ever since the 2 UCL finals. Always felt that there was something really off about him as a person, so it's been infuriating watching him win everything over the years.

So good to finally see his bubble burst.

Signed a new contract to early. Should be sacked if he doesn’t beat us on Sunday. That’s more about how bad we’ve been not them.

Unfortunately it's Lewis who is suspended for their game against United and think that'll work in City's favour. It's a shame we're this bad, otherwise would go to Etihad with confidence for a change...

Just seen who the ref is for the Derby, are the Premier League doing this on purpose

As long as Oliver is nowhere near this I’m happy

United haven't won any of their last seven Premier league matches with Taylor as ref (D4 L3) however the last two Manchester Derbies he was ref United won, 2-0 in 2021 and 2-1 in 2019 with both games played in the Etihad.

Pep is not even playing Foden off the bench these days - even when they need to chase a goal.
