'Pep' Guardiola sack watch

You do realise that there is a big difference between blank cheque book and cheating to win? There is a reason why City have 115 charges.

Also... you clearly have been misinformed or ignorant about an open cheque book.

At Inter in 08/09 had a net spend of 65m Euros
In 09/10 - Net spend of 12m euros

At Porto he had the biggest bunch of divers cheaters and moaners going. People who think Atletico, Newcastle or Arsenal are bad should look back at that lot.

First time around at Chelsea, he had a blank chequebook. He could have signed nyone he wanted, they tapped up Ashley Cole and got him for less than 10m and tried the same with Rio. Is that not cheating?

His net spend at Inter was basically covered by Ibrahimovic going to Barca.

Not saying he's not a great coach, but he has some cheek calling Pep out for being a cheat.

If he goes and wins his 5th consecutive league title from here, I'm blaming the person behind that camera.

The only difference is when the rule was brought in.

Why are people defending Guardiola over Mourinho? Mourinho as managed more under dog teams and been fairly successful. Peps managed the best in each country. Enough said

Some people are just proper weird. Mou got him good there.

Bloke who filmed it is an opportunistic cnut who got the reaction he wanted. He’s the wanker in that clip, not the bloke walking along the street getting accosted while he’s at his lowest ebb professionally.
It wasn't like he said anything remotely abusive to warrant that reaction from Pep.

They both are. Ones just immature, the other should be professional and learn to ignore. Proper sore loser that.

Can't we all just back Mourinho on this one? Who cares about his past. He gets under Pep's skin and it's hilarious
I wish Guardiola could have been in the Premier League against Fergie in the mid 90s. Pep seems quite easy to wind up. Sir Alex would have driven him to a nervous breakdown.

Exactly. Pep is just thin skinned and easy to wind up.

I remember seeing a video of Fergie walking around outside Anfield and a bunch of Liverpool fans booing him and yelling 'are you fecking lost, Fergie?'. Sir Alex didn't even flinch.

Right? The Utd treble stank in the throats of everyone for years. Meanwhile most ordinary football fans don't even have a picture in their heads of whoever was the City captain lifting the CL.
Exactly this.
It's the equivalent of world records in this doping littered age.
You hear it and say "come on now...." then just wait to hear the inevitable exposure and punishment.

He looks like he is cracking up

Ah yes the prick following a man with a camera for views and attention like a social media whore is totally not the one to blame here. Pep shoulda decked the clown.

Pep ultimately lacks underdog achievements on his managerial CV. Mourinho on the other hand did great work at UD Leiria with barely a cent to spend (they were 3rd in the league midway through 2001/2002 ahead of Porto and Benfica before he left), and Porto. Before we even get to the CL triumph in 2004, his Porto team at the time of the 2003 UEFA Cup final was built on half the budget compared Martin O’Neill’s Celtic team.

On the flipside Mourinho clearly wouldn’t be capable of winning 6 league titles in 7 years at any club, as he wouldn’t have the ability to stay that long at any club in the first place, as he would have crashed and burned there long beforehand.

But overall Pep’s footballing career is clearly vastly superior to Mourinho’s.

A hugely successful, trophy laden playing career + a legendary managerial career >>> no serious playing career beyond a limited number of appearances in the Portuguese lower leagues + a legendary managerial career. Pep ultimately mastered more crucially important disciplines within the sport than Mourinho.

Or just invited him to the car park for a chat.

Jose has shown with Porto, Chelsea, Madrid, Milan and Chelsea again that he doesn't need the best team.

Each of these teams were the richest in their leagues when Jose managed them

Yep. This.

I don't disagree but it's amazing how people still seem to like Mourinho more, which is amazing when you consider how much of a cnut Mourinho is at times

Agreed, I wish he would have done it too. Annoying Scouser punched, Pep in another row of controversy, making it 116 charges, major distraction for the team. Win win for everyone.

Mourihno kinda owns being a cnut though. He’s not always trying to convince people he’s a pious footballing saint.
