'Pep' Guardiola sack watch

He's self mutilated himself. Look at that shit!

Those are clearly fingernail scratches. He's gone a bit mental at some point recently

Maybe too early to say this is a full decline considering they won the league last season (and this one is far from over) but the squad has declined significantly. This is the only evidence we need that he’s not fit to lace Fergies boots. The man was a genius and master and knowing when to refresh and look to reinvigorate the side. That’s the only way you can dominate over a two decade spell.

I think his goose is cooked.

All his core players are either past 30 or close to it. They can't run around like they used to, and they get injured more often. When you have a team like this, you need young blood coming through, and the ones coming through aren't very good. Rico Lewis, McAtee, Oscar Bob and Salvinho. Even the subs bench, with Nunes and Kovacic, they aint gonna turn a game around.

Apart from Rodri, Foden, Haaland, Diaz and Doku. The rest are either on the turn or average at best.

The decision to sell Palmer and Alvarez will bite them on the arse big time. Especially when they inevitably end up with a transfer embargo, and Rico Lewis, Bob and McAtee are the only options, because all the veterans are injured.

Oh, and "Taxi for Haaland" coming soon.

Yeah that's pretty insane considering the focus on mental health these days.

The fact he comes out with he wants to harm himself, at a 'big' club, the modern eras greatest manager saying that is baffling.

Despite how he is feeling, you dont joke about that.

Bit strange but I’m watching the same interview on Amazon prime and the scratches on his head aren’t there like that in the picture but the scratch on his nose is, someone’s photoshopped it I bet on socials.
The scratches on his head are visible in that video where he says he wants to harm himself a few posts up

They're definitely there, you can see them here too

This isn't funny. If those pictures aren't edited, that's actually concerning.

I don't think he's joking, I think he's a mentally unstable guy.

His mannerisms etc aren't that of a sound of mind person.

Look how well he is coping. Probably his first ever crisis in management career

Can't get any more of a meltdown than Pep in this moment. I see no reason to feel concerned for the cheating cnut, feck him.

Pep can't handle adversity. He's had everything handed to him on a plate since becoming a manager. The best players, the richest clubs, clubs that ride roughshod over financial rules, you name it.

This is pretty much the first losing steak he's had as a manager in his career and he's scratching the face off himself!

Exactly this.

Anyone who says he is better than Fergie needs to have a word with themselves.

Descent into madness. To be fair, the signs were there, as early as "More than you believe, more than you believe I am happy, I am so happy, happy new year".

But this is next level. He looks like he just finished giving a big feral cat a bath.

I don't think it's fair to say that he's, 'lost it'. The modern world in which we live is pressure-intensive, anyone can feel it. If he is struggling with stuff mentally, he deserves to be treated with respect with what's he's going through. My own analysis is that Pep needs a break from football. He's won the lot at several huge clubs and he just looks harrassed and tired.

We've seen how our own bosses have been treated under the spotlight, and despite there being an awareness of mental health issues nowadays, there's clearly an aspect of our society that still picks on people who are under intense pressure. But it's not right to enjoy the idea that someone is undergoing mental health issues because they're an opponent.

From what I've seen Pep's a decent human being who sets incredibly high standards for himself and he's not to blame for City not being everyone's cup of tea. The smile that you see there is incredibly sad thing to witness.

Disagree. He's just as corrupt as the organization he represents.

About time everything stopped falling perfectly in his favor for a change.

It's his mental health. The bloke looks absolutely in bits.

It's not nice to see that at all.

As much as I absolutely cannot stand the guy and wish him to fail professionally, I do hope that if his mental health is as poor as it appears, he does get the help he needs.

I honestly think he did not do the right thing by signing that extension.

He's in bits because he's got a problem he hasn't faced before and he can't solve it.

If his mental was really in trouble he could just quit and financially be set for life and retire if he wanted to or take an extended break as needed and have job offers lined up whenever he'd choose to come back.

Pep is fine and doesn't need us to feel sorry for him.

As for his cut it looks like something you'd get from being hit in the face whilst wearing glasses.

This should be a bigger story. If it was Ten Hag the media would discuss it ad nauseam.

maybe it's for the best he never managed us, would have driven him to some very nasty things.

Had gotten pretty miserable towards the end of his Barcelona career as well.

Should strike them now with a 115 point deduction as the first of many many punishments. The second being relegation to the 10th Div at the end of the season.

Arnes definitely put his own stamp on it though. Klopp cost Liverpool a few titles with his heavy football. Slots added a bit more discipline to the side. They can grind out results.

Very true on the bolded. Pool really had no business losing the title last year to City. Thier collapse following the FA cup loss to us needs to be studied

If I recall correctly, did he not leave Barcelona after 3-4 years because he said that's how long he feels he can work in a job before he needs a break himself? Perhaps it's something he recognized within himself, something that could probably affect his mental health. That was at Barcelona, his boyhood club in his home. If a job like that could cause burnout then any job could.

He has since then been at City for almost double that time. Perhaps it really has caused some issues with burnout. He should not have signed that contract extension. I can't help but think that he signed that extension due to external pressure from somewhere. A great football manager though he is, Pep is just that, a manager, who is employed by a very rich nation state who have shown that they are willing to take on the league itself. It's not hard to imagine that they could have applied pressure somehow to force him to sign on further.

Perhaps he is trying to go the Mourinho route and get himself sacked?

Either way, something is not right with Pep recently.

What I'd give to see Sir Alex from the mid 90's up against Guardiola in the league.

SAF's mind games would have driven him crazy.

Nope. SAF would have recognized his brilliance and decided to give the bullshit a swerve. He basically did that with Mourinho who he knew to be a peaking, young upstart doomed to succeed. Wenger was different: less young, less stable, and managing a genuine football giant, unlike Chelsea and City.
