Pedro Neto

How many do they want?? So Palmer going to play at no.10 for them then?

Rate him but just makes it all the sadder that we missed out on Olise. This isn't surprising at all from watching our wingers this preseason + past season.

I think you can make an argument for any of the big 4, really.

Arsenal, for the reasons you state; Manchester United — we will sell or loan Sancho again, Antony is a non-entity, and Amad isn’t really getting a look in anyway; Liverpool — need a long term quality Salah replacement which he could evolve into; City — love to have high quality depth and outside of Foden I’d take Neto over any of their wingers.

I would imagine Neto and Olise are this seasons Lavia and Caicedo.

hopefully that doesn’t mean they both end up at Chelsea and do shite.
 1 out of 2 is not bad

How are they going to line up? Hes right sided isn’t he? Then they have that Ukrainian winger on the left. There doesn’t appear to be joined up thinking

It's also madness because he misses 20 games a season due to injury.

I'd imagine he'll play on the left at Chelsea, it's where he played initially at Wolves.

Maresca had a look at Sterling and Mudryk during our preseason and said “nah, we ain’t doing this again.”

Madueke has been great during preseason so it won’t be him that’s sacrificed. Must mean Mudryk or Sterling will be moved on somehow.

Chelsea just can't stop themselves.

Ridiculous really.

Sterling still has 2/3 years left and Mudryk has about 10. Best of luck to them selling either of those two.

I’m convinced their owners are shopping addicts. On top of that, they are clueless so they can’t help themselves buying more players as soon as the euphoria dies of the recently bought new player.

Wild.

Huge risk at that fee.

I think there's something there with Madueke, so this would be surprising. Unless he will play on the left as others have suggested. Neto, Palmer, Madueke and Nkunku is a pretty dangerous front 4. The players in reserve is pretty strong too, especially if Jackson, Lavia and Mudryk progress.

How can their owners do this and we can’t?

Wild.

Huge risk at that fee.

I really like Neto but it is a bit of a gamble,.I'd have taken that gamble at Arsenal. But one thing about signing him, is you can't moan about 'luck' with injuries with your squad when you are taking a chance on players with patchy injury records like he has.

It does make you wonder how the likes of Chelsea can behave like this and be within FFP, obviously the 10 year contracts have helped. Mind you they have sold incredibly well year on year, something we can only dream of, Maatsen was what nearly £40million to Villa. Hall and Hutchinson both picked up good fees too.

Chelsea transfers

22/23 - Around €610m
23/24 - Around €450m
24/25 - Around €200m (still not done)

Make that make sense.

Spurs forums in meltdown at this, been our #1 target all summer apparently

How do they do this? I just can't understand how they can financially handle these transfers and wages.

Did they find a loophole in the loophole of the loophole ? This is ridiculous...

Would like to see Chelsea's PSR books
Maatsen, Hall, Gallagher and Hutchinson all left this summer, all for pure or near enough pure profit I believe. Over £110m raised just there. And that £100m+ can be played around with to help them spend double and treble that amount.

Why do Chelsea sign a dozen CB and wingers all the time.

Chelsea transfer spend in last 3 years including Neto:

€1283m
€837m net

United for comparison:

€539m
€425m net

Crazy stuff
